Wonderful stay with a wonderful host
I can’t say enough about the host. I texted him the night we got there asking if there were light bulbs in the house (one blew out in the bathroom). There weren’t any. But he made sure to swing by the house that night and bring us one. He also checked in a few more times throughout the week just to see if we needed anything.
The property is at the end of a cul-du-sac, which made for a good deal of privacy. The house was roomy for 7 adults and three kids under 4. The kids loved the firepit and the toys at the house. Only complaint is that one of the bedrooms did not have air conditioning, so it got rather toasty. However, Our family didn’t realize there was a tower fan in the room (pack n play was set up and blocking it), which probably would have made a difference. Otherwise, the stay was awesome. There was more in the house than we expected (blender, kitchen soap, ton of kitchen supplies, dishwasher tablets, washer tablets and dryer sheets, some paper towels and toilet paper, bath towels. There was also shampoo conditioner and body wash in a dispenser in the showers). The only thing we felt the house could have used were over-the-door hooks in the bedrooms and bathrooms to hang towels on. We would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a poconos getaway.
