Rock River Executive Inn is a spacious open concept home that overlooks the beautiful Rock River. Comfortably sleeps 11 guests with (2) full master suites, each with a queen bed, (2) queen sleeper sofas (1) super comfy chase lounger and (2) single roll-away beds. This amazing home offers all of the amenities!! Washer & Dryer, Cable and super fast WiFi, 3 TVs (1 in the great room and 1 in each bedroom) remote control fireplace, full kitchen with a dishwasher, a jetted tub, huge low profile walk in shower, amazing patio with a grill, views of the River and we are pet friendly.

The property has a huge outdoor venue that features commercial men’s and women’s bathrooms. The private enclosed yard offers plenty of room for small weddings, birthday parties and family reunions with lots of private parking for guests!

This property is versatile and can accommodate everyone’s vision of a perfect getaway or gathering.

It was so wonderful to host Sharon and her group of lady riders trying to break the world record of most lady bikers riding across country! The home was beautiful and comfortable. Although it could sleep many more, it was perfect for the 3 of us! We had family and friends over for a cookout one day. Plenty of parking, plenty of seating on the patio that overlooked the river. It is conveniently located to anyplace we needed to go...Machesney Park, Loves Park, Rockford, Rockton, etc. It was a quick drive to and from the Rockford Int'l Airport. Kristy was a wonderful host and quickly responded to every inquiry! We loved having Tads on the Rock within walking distance! Good music on the weekends. Good food, always. And right on the river. Thank you, Kristy!!

Beautiful stay here! The open layout was perfect for us. The dog was so happy here too. Large yard and all the things we needed. Kristy was so accommodating, as our needs changed several times. Thank you Kristy for adjusting to our crazy last minute schedule changes. The neighbors are all friendly as well :). We look forward to coming back for a getaway in the future.

Wonderful experience right from the beginning. We arrived earlier than anticipated and Kristy and staff worked to get us in quickly. Her home was warm and inviting for us all, even our pets! Little touches like dog treats, bowls and a spacious area to play made it perfect for us.Each bathroom was equally perfect. Our son loved the jacuzzi styled tub for relaxing after a long day of walking and adventures. While, I enjoyed the walk in shower, being disabled, It was a godsend. Three shower heads, one of them being a rainfall, my favorite. Cherry blossom toiletries was a wonderful addition.We enjoyed eating al fresco every day after cooking each meal on the Blackstone. (Thanks, Nick) We spent a great deal of time relaxing and enjoying the beautiful river and nature. Sitting in the sunshine, enjoying our meals and relaxing under the overhang when it got too sunny was absolutely perfect.A beautiful walking and biking path in the park close by was enjoyed every day. Anderson's Japanese garden was the highlight of our visit. It's breathtakingly beautiful and I can't wait to come back every season to enjoy its beauty. Their Fresco garden restaurant was also a wonderful addition. Having lunch outside and enjoying the wonderful food was amazing. Especially the strawberry cheesecake, which I highly recommend! It is made in house, and it's spectacular!I just can't say enough for things about our experience. I absolutely recommend staying at Kristy's, you won't be disappointed.

Sharon and her family were just amazing guests! Took such good care of the house! She did dishes and some laundry before they left which is so helpful for us when we’re transitioning the space over for new guests. She is so sweet and her family so lovely! So spacious!!

Loved staying here! Sitting out back on the porch drinking coffee with the view of the river and the trees was so relaxing. The hosts were super sweet and they had a ton of extra blankets, basically everything you need. Would definitely rent this out again next time we visit

AMAZING!

We enjoyed everything about our stay! We loved the location - so easy to get anywhere from there. There were breakfast foods, etc. there which was so helpful for the first morning there.Also, the communication and follow-up with everyone was top notch. Family visit

The property was clean and easily accessible from family in Belvidere. There was breakfast food and fruit available ipon arrival. This was a pet friendly location and this made it easier to bring them along as well.

Large Great Room with a river view

We were happy to be able to take a vacation with our dogs. Although the property wasn't fully fenced in, it had a very large yard -- which was great for the kids & dogs to play. The great room was indeed large with some nice views of the river. The amenities were also very nice -- lots of supplies and the breakfast fixings were a nice touch.

Happy 23 anniversary

We had a wonderful weekend. It was nice to sit back and relax. We was close to Chicago so we went there to see some sights. Also close to galena to go do some shopping. Just all around great weekend for wife and I to celebrate our 23 anniversary!

Comfort and Convenience

The property manager was very kind and helpful to us. We were in Rockford for an emergency trip due to family illness. It was a real comfort to return to property each night to a warm fire and cup of hot tea.

Thanksgiving 2024

Our Thanksgiving family celebration was absolutely wonderful thanks to Kristy and this spacious well equipped space. Any family that needs wheelchair accessible, and has family pets, plus roomy accommodations, this is the place for you. The added treats for pets and people were a nice touch, as well. We also saw an eagle and watched a fox and bunny as we looked out at the Rock River! Thank you for everything!! 💜

Perfect place for our sister getaway

Property was very clean, nicely decorated, spacious, and well supplied. The back deck overlooking the river was perfect for coffee in the mornings. We were pleasantly surprised to find breakfast items, snacks, and even a birthday cake and card as she knew we were celebrating birthdays. Kristy was easy to get in touch with and very responsive for all inquiries. Her rating as a super host is well deserved. I would definately recommend.
