I stayed for a long winter weekend with my adult children. It's clean and updated and everyone loved the hot tub and the sauna, especially! My son loved the loft bedroom and my "chef" son-in-law complimented the amount of kitchen counterspace. And what a great view!Our host communicated several times by text checking on us and responded quickly to any questions we had. I highly recommend this spot!

Excellent location, well kept and very relaxing.

We enjoyed a very nice stay. The kitchen was easy to work in and we enjoyed preparing and eating meals together. The accommodations overall were very nice and well kept. This location is walking distance to down town Cherry Valley. We would definitely book and stay hear again.

Rockford Ironman 70.3

Myself and two other athletes stayed here with family for the Rockford Ironman 70.3 race. It was a perfect mix of tranquility and location to get to the race. The house was clean, well appointed, and had a great view. The accommodations were exceptional and communication with the host was easy.

Very nice backyard with a nice view. Sauna and hot tub were very clean and the fire pit is in a great location. Would stay again.

Amazing cabin getaway!

I loved everything about this place! It was well stocked, beautiful and rustic cabin feel, the sauna was absolutely wonderful, beautiful yard, fun for kids and adults and the host was so kind. Would highly recommend this for a family getaway:)

Great spot to unwind

Cabin is very nice and comfortable. It’s on a busier street but it was very quiet inside. The fireplace and hot tub were very nice to enjoy and the bed was comfortable. A few things were missing from the kitchen (like oven mitts, etc), and the one oven had drippings burnt to the bottom that made it unusable. Good communication with the owner for check in and out and reporting of issues. Views of the river were great. Loved watching the geese play in the water and on the ice. Would stay again!

Great place to get away that’s not far from Chicago. Awesome back yard with year round amenities and great Apple Orchard nearby
