Welcome to Brady Bunch mountain living at it's finest! Built in 1974, this spacious classic California ski house is secluded on nearly an acre of totally private land, and features truly breathtaking views, massive decks, deluxe hot tub and nicely forested surroundings. Guests will enjoy the perfect mix of groovy 1970's decor and totally modern conveniences including a true chef's kitchen, Amazon Firestick TVs and Nest controlled thermostat.

Boutique hotel comes to mind with this sleek creature comfort home 3 bedrooms all decked out with tv's, deluxe bedding, and spacious closets. Immaculate bathrooms are stocked with plush towels, shampoos + soaps. The kitchen features brand new cookware and microwave, along with fantastic coffee, olive oils, spices and the like. Guests are encouraged to take advantage of the nearly endless outdoor activities Tahoe Donner and Truckee have to offer or simply relax by the fire and enjoy the fabulous view!

Located in the Tahoe Donner area of Truckee, the house is only 15 minutes from Northstar Resort, 20 minutes from Squaw Valley and just a few minutes from great dining in Truckee scenic Old Town district. Your stay includes access (at a nominal fee) to all Tahoe Donner Amenities including the Trout Creek Rec Center and Cross Country skiing.

Great for families

Had a great time with my wife and 2 young boys. Hot tub was very nice. Be careful visiting in winter. House shares a very long driveway that needs to be plowed. We were stuck at the house for a couple days and couldn’t ski because there was a big storm. Hopefully won’t happen too often.

Family Vacation

This was my first VRBO booking. We typically stay at Welk's Resorts or Constellation when visiting the North Lake Tahoe area. We wanted something more private and with a nice view - this home delivered. VERY CLEAN and nicely decorated. Great coffee, well stocked and the view was fantastic. There were nice hiking and biking trails practically across the street. Nice proximity to good shopping options and conveniences. Gus was a great host. Very communicative and responsive. Would stay again.

Next Level Destination and Host!

Gus is the most accommodating, professional and friendly host imaginable. Always responsive during our stay via text or phone. The house is incredible. Meticulously restored and maintained with plenty of architectural flair. Kitchen is small but well stocked. Everything is efficiently thought out, which makes relaxing and enjoyment effortless. Even kindling and fire making supplies are on hand. Hot tub was immaculately clean. Beds very comfortable and clean. We are planning to rent here again in a couple weeks if available!

Dishonest host cheating us. Vrbo also no help

Reserved 3 night stay a month ago. Looks like a nice place to stay. Host let us know that due to snowstorms we woud not be able to stay at the property as unsafe which is completely understandable. However since then have not been able to get any response from host about refund. He did not cancel the reservation from the host side so vrbo is unable to issue the refund. Vrbo has also been completely useless in helping saying they can't do anything unless host cancels. When I asked what the plan is if they continue to fail to reach the host the reply is they will keep trying. It's been almost a month now of trying to get a resolution to this.

Great Xmas Experience!

Our family of five and dog spent a great week at this property the week before Xmas. It was an amazing experience! The property owner, Gus, was so attentive to our every need. The house was like a museum and so we’ll decorated. Every kitchen utensil known to man was available. It was very clean and comfortable with a gorgeous view. The hot tub was also perfectly maintained. We will most definitely return. Thanks, Gus, for your amazing hospitality! The Drew Family Fair Oaks, CA
