Nana's Place on the Lake is a beautiful 3 Bedroom lakefront home located on Snyder's Lake in Rensselaer County, NY. Minutes to Albany and under an hour to Lake George, Adirondacks, Berkshires and more. Recently renovated this is a great place to relax by the lake, use for local business trip or family vacation. The Lake offers great fishing, swimming, boating, kayaking, Ice Fishing and more. No restrictions and dock space is available. Amenities include a full gourmet style kitchen, outdoor hot tub, fire pit, kayaks, laundry and more. Three Bedrooms include a Master with Queen bed and 1/2 bath, 2nd Bedroom with full bed, third bedroom with twin bunk beds. There is also a full size futon in the loft. Sleeps eight comfortably. Come enjoy our house with your family and friends.

Yes the Hot Tub and Fireplace are working.

Primary Guest/Occupant must be 25 years or older. You may have guests, however no large parties allowed. Exceptions can be made, please contact us first.

This is a NO SMOKING Property. This means the entire property inside and out. If you are a smoker please consider another property. Any evidence of smoking during your stay and you risk forfeit of your full deposit.

This was a very cozy getaway perfect for fall vibes and relaxing with friends. The kitchen was great to cook in and plenty of room for all of us. The hot tub was very relaxing but very difficult to get in if you aren't nimble but the step stool was very helpful!

The communication from Chris is top notch. No answer or concern goes unanswered. The home is really wonderful - location can’t be beat right on the lake with an incredible hot tub to overlook it. This is our second stay and we hope to have many more!

We love Nana's Place!

This was our second stay at Nana's and it's definitely becoming an annual tradition. Its very clean, cozy and homey with beautiful views of the lake and a wonderful hot tub! Can't wait to come back.

What a great place to stay

We loved the conveniences of home for visiting our RPI student for family weekend! We were able to cook, hang out, and just enjoy the company of each other at this lovely place by the lake! Highly recommend this for a stay in Albany area!

Perfect for small family gathering

Our family of eight adults stayed in the home to celebrate a college graduation. It has a nice open floor plan that accommodated in-door time together as the weather was chilly for our stay. The nice balcony overlooks the lake. Only drawbacks are that there’s just one shower and futon sofa mattress was hard, not comfortable. Overall, very nice house and happy with our stay.

Great Escape

Perfect weekend getaway. My girlfriend and I loved everything about this house. The kitchen has everything you need for a gourmet meal and the lake views are perfect for that morning cup of coffee. We will definitely be back!

Since then is has been a great place for our family and friends to enjoy and love the lake. Recently we completed a 2 year renovation and are now offering it to you to enjoy and produce as many memories as we have over the years. Great for any season weather summer fun, fall foliage, winter activities or spring renewals Nana's Place has something for everyone. Honeymooners, vacationers, business travelers alike will love their stay here. Enjoy!
