This condo was amazing! View of the gulf was gorgeous, so clean, beautifully decorated, great view from the balcony with patio set, and very well stocked. David was our contact with AMI locals and was extremely helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. The pool was warm and the beach was just steps away with an outdoor shower to rinse off. Publix was an easy walk and so was Manatee beach and shopping and a few restaurants. Trolley stop was a short walk also. We loved the location on the island too. This was our second visit to Anna Maria and we would definitely like to stay here again!

Lovely stay at Holmes Beach

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The unit was newly renovated and nicely decorated. The location also could not be beat with the gorgeous beach and beautiful sunsets.

Perfect place!

We had a wonderful stay! The home was mostly clean, except for dustiness in the back bedroom. There is no elevator, but we were used to the stairs by the 2nd day. The location is perfect. It's walking distance to the grocery store, drug store, bars, great restaurants, and the free trolley. It's an easy walk to the beach. And you can see the sunrise from the balcony and partial sunset from the living room window. The listing and pictures are accurate. We would definitely stay here again!

Clean and quaint

This unit is very clean and had everything we needed for a 3 day stay. It's small but doesn't feel cramped. It was easy to get around this property since it's smaller - a bonus! Laundry is on every floor, which is also a bonus. There is an app to use the washer/dryer so no need for cash or change. There were beach chairs in the closet which was a nice surprise! We would stay here again for sure.

Nice but frustrating

The property was well-decorated and comfortable. It is in a good location and the beach is beautiful. We did have issues with the air conditioner however. And we were told before we arrived that there would be 1 beach chair provided for each bedroom in the condo (3) but, even after calling the property management office several times over the first few days we were there, did not receive any.

Cute, good location, clean

I really enjoyed my stay at this property. There are only a few cons, but mostly all positive! I’ll start with the cons so we can end on a good note: not a lot of great walkable restaurants in the area (Skinny’s was great tho), terrible water pressure in all bathroom sinks, & no elevator (although this is clearly stated in the property description so it was only a small issue when I had to carry my 50# suitcase up the 2 flights of stairs). My biggest 2 cons were 1) that there were NO beach chairs provided. You would think chairs would be a given since it’s right on the beach. And 2) there are no dressers in any of the bedrooms, even though there is plenty of space for them, which made my 9 day/8 night trip troublesome to live out of a suitcase for all of my foldables. PROS: great view of the ocean, clean beach, condo was clean & updated, I felt very safe the whole time (as I stayed alone 5 of the 8 nights), nice to have a dedicated parking spot, pool was heated & clean, beach towels were included, Publix grocery was just a short walk, and the trolley stop was also very close. Check in/out was easy and communication from management was clear. Would I stay here again? Yep!

Know before you go! It’s a 3 from me but maybe a 5 for someone else.

First the pros. Directly on beach, updated condo w/some high end finishes, beautiful view from living room (except when your neighbors are out on their porch looking into your condo)! Parking is next to stairs. Beach towels for use. Luggage racks provided. Now the cons. The listing was very inaccurate!! There are 4 sets of stairs with no stringers getting up to this condo (prepare for a hike with heavy luggage). Not suitable for disabled, elderly or really small kids and should be in the listing. I had to carry bags up and down for an elderly couple that checked in near us. We couldn’t get in when got there after a full day of travel as our code didn’t work and I had to call emergency service! The pool is NOT HEATED. We paid exorbitant prices for this property vs. others with no pool specially FOR the heated pool AND IT IS NOT HEATED! The condos around us had actual heated pools, you could see the steam rolling off them. Ours was 50 degrees. What’s worse - I was given an excuse about how pool heaters work. Had it been heated before we got there, even when it was cool outside it would’ve already been warm. Two people cannot shower at the same time in this condo or you don’t have hot water, making it very inconvenient for family of 5 to get ready at the same time. No dressers provided, so we couldn’t unpack for a 9 day stay. Their are luggage racks and hangers so we made due. Master has one closet with shelves. All games are missing pieces. The kitchen is bare bones equipped for cooking in comparison to properties we’ve stayed at before which is over a dozen now. There were no basic comfort items left there at all like salt and pepper, coffee, laundry pods, etc (this is not a deal breaker just letting you know to prepare to buy EVERYTHING and it’s inconvenient when you get in late with a big family). We left everything there that we purchased, hopefully they will leave it for the next guests to be a little more comfortable. No laundry basket provided for washer/dryer so you’re carrying clean clothes over sandy floors at the entrance of condo to find somewhere to fold them. They put thought into the decor/design for photos but not the actual guests and what they might need to be comfortable staying there which is short term rental 101. The company managing it is doing best w/what they have and is very responsive. They get 5 stars but the property itself, I won’t book here again. First time ever writing that! We OVERPAID for an inaccurate listing.

Excellent location & service!

We stayed here with 4 teenagers and we all had an amazing time! The condo was the perfect size and the view of the beach was amazing. The pool was nice and warm and the beach was easy to access! Highly recommend

Paradise family vacation

From the moment that we rented the property, to the check in experience, to the checkout experience, it was perfect. The property is absolutely beautiful and the sunsets are amazing. I would highly recommend this property. The stairs may be a little difficult if a person was older but for our family it was great.

Great location, building problems

When we got there the AC was broken, but a repairman came in a couple of hours. The pool was not heated as advertised and was too cold to use. Our third level required 40 stairs which was difficult for one person, and a challenge with luggage. No elevator. One window leaked a lot when it rained to the point of soaking the carpet nearby. A member of the group with mold allergies had a strong reaction . Location is great and view is beautiful, but I'd pick a better maintained building.
