Beautiful Historic building built in 1927. Avonly place is a charming and unique gem located 1 block from The Shoppes of Avondale. There are 46 bars, restaurants, and shopping within walking distance. Our location offers amenities for young professionals traveling for work , fun couples weekend , or a perfect getaway for family time. Avondale is notable for fabulous dining , antique shopping , parks, fun bars and trendy boutiques . Our culinary scene is on the national map.

Lovely

Steps from great shopping and dining. The apartment has everything you need for a short or lengthy stay. You definitely won't have to worry about no having hot water! The bed was a little hard for our liking, but would definitely stay here again!

Great Location. Walkable to many shops and restaurants. Host was fantastic in answering a few questions. Apartment was very clean! Host also provided k cups for coffee and a little basket of snacks for on the go. Would stay again!!

We loved the proximity to shops and restaurants as well as the closeness to our family. Peaceful area, super clean residence, decorated well and all the extra touches from the host. We'll return!

Highly recommended perfect spot.

This apartment is very conveniently located to a nice local commercial district, walkable with good dining options. Easy, secure parking at the premises. The accommodations are very clean!, comfortable, and quiet. The host was most gracious in accommodations and answering any need we had. This is somewhere we'd certainly stay again with no hesitation. Happy and grateful. Host "T" is the best.

Cozy Historical Apartment

This place was amazing. I love how they kept the original 1900s look with a touch of modern. This place was absolutely beautiful. The host was quick to respond to any questions I had. The location was great. It’s perfect for late night strolls and shopping. I will for sure book this beauty again when we return to Florida

Lovely spot & location

This spot has historical charm vs generic style interiors which I loved. It’s safe, blocks from beautiful Avondale village for walking & river waterfront nearby. If you like neighborhoods with charm, this is it. The space itself is quite large & roomy too.

Perfect location!

This little apartment was clean, cute, cozy and comfortable! It was everything we needed and in the perfect location. It was a quick walk to fabulous restaurants and in the most charming area of town. The host was kind and helpful and provided lots of little appreciated touches - such as snacks, tea & coffee with sugar & creamer, small toiletries, hand soap, dishwashing liquid, plenty of towels, little blankets, a hair dryer, and even an air mattress (and although that wasn’t anything we needed, I thought it was a nice amenity). I appreciated the historic charm of the property and the neighborhood. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent this apartment again. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Quick getaway

The location of the apartment was good. Close access to the highway and easy to find. We had some trouble getting access to the apartment at first because we weren’t given the correct lock code to the door and the property manager wasn’t available for a short amount of time. After we got in touch with her, all went well. The also was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. All the needed amenities were there!

Exactly what I was hoping for

I wanted a comfortable, nice place to stay that was easy walking distance to “downtown” Avondale. This fit 100%. Exactly as advertised and would happily stay again.

Jacksonville Gem

Perfect location in the heart of Avondale, Jacksonville. This rental was great for my wife and I to explore this unique area of Jacksonville. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants on St John Street and a short drive from the Riverside Art Market. I highly recommend this property for any visit to the area.

Great unit & location

I really enjoyed the originality of the unit & building in a perfect location. Only a 4-5 min walk to great shops, restaurants, & bars. Really close to the water as well, will be back!

Adorable apartment

Just loved having my friend stay here. Charming one bedroom with ample space to sit and enjoy friends. Walked into town multiple nights and enjoyed the historic charm. We will be back!

Great apartment!

This property is a little gem, it gives you a real home from home feel. It has everything you need for a very comfortable and relaxed stay. When as Brits we needed a kettle for tea, it was provided in a flash! Thanks to the responsive host. It is a 2 min stroll from Avondale and it’s lovely shops, bars and restaurants. The area is very pretty and a short drive from all the lovely parks etc. I would definitely stay again.
