Bohemian Bungalow

This chic colorful apartment is newly furnished with bold colors and comfortable touches. The previous tenant was a Bohemian lady who had a flair for color so we kept the bold paint scheme and expanded on it. The apartment is part of a ground level duplex, and has mostly all new furnishings and updated appliances. The tile in the bathroom is retro style.The location is stellar as you can walk to many of the fun dining and drinking hotspots in trendy Riverside. We are located with in a mile of Interstate 10 and 2 miles from Interstate 95 and the downtown.Dedicated offstreet parking is assigned . A pet is permitted with a $ 50.00 fee up to one week! Guests staying a week or more will have access to the laundry serving my two adjacent duplexes. (A modest fee is charged. )There are security cameras on the premises. Tastefully decorated spaces with MCM decor. Perfect location for our stay and immediate help from our gracious host when we inadvertently messed up the coded door lock; he reset it cheerfully and everything was wonderful.

Cute, cozy accommodations -- just what we were looking for in a one-night stay. We very much appreciated the coffee/maker and the sweet welcome treats. We did note that the TV was in Spanish and we were not able to change, and there are no forks!

Thank you for your comments. There are over 200 channels on the TV and if you had an issue changing the channels, you had my phone number and I would’ve been happy to assist you to change the channel.i live 3 blocks away. I’m disappointed you chose not to reach out but to leave negative comments when it could’ve been resolved with the phone call. In addition, there was over a dozen clean forks in the dishwasher as the housekeeper had done up many them. There were additional stacks of silverware on the other side of the kitchen in the drawer. When in doubt… Reach out. Perhaps a fully furnished chic apartment with a smart TV is not the best fit ..and a hotel room would suit you better. All the best..

A quaint eclectic bungalow with all amenities. A good location for dining and easy access to the interstate. Daiv was extremely responsive to my requests. I would stay here again when in town.

The host was very attentive and even arranged for an earlier check in for us. The place was clean and cozy. He left us cupcakes, extra pillows. And a convenient minibar. The process was easy and stress free thanks to our host. We would stay again if we come back to Jacksonville.

I am originally from Erie Pennsylvania. I have a degree in hospitality management and have been involved in the service industry most of my life. Although I’ve been retired for a while now hospitality is still in my blood and running several B&Bs in rental properties keeps me busy and active.

I chose this neighborhood as it is close to my house. The neighborhood is a very eclectic mix of young families with smaller and older starter homes. There’s lots of And hipster vibe in the area and the location is close to interstate, the dining district and downtown.

Bohemia gets its inspiration from a long-term former tenant who was from Bohemia, who started off with the unique paint scheme in this apartment. I took cues from her and her friends and transformed this mid-century modern apartment in to an unusual collection of art colors and vibrant energy.
