Beautiful, serene 1 bedroom/1 bathroom unit with breathtaking views of Lake Merritt and Downtown Oakland. This unit is located in The Essex building, a highly desirable condominium that is also known as "The Cadillac of Oakland" for its timeless, luxury appeal.
Step outside and find yourself right in front of Lake Merritt and still be a short walk away from high-end restaurants, bars as well as two BART stations.
The space is stylishly furnished, has a fully equipped kitchen and will include linens, towels for your comfort. We also have a newly carpeted bedroom and renovated bathroom.
The kitchen features granite countertops, stainless-steel appliances. There is an in-unit washer/dryer, office desk nook (with high speed wifi), and a walk-in closet.
The bedroom has a Casper queen sized bed and in the living room you'll find a comfortable queen sized fold-out couch for any quests. Enjoy watching your favorite shows on the SmartTV or use the Amazon Echo to listen to music/podcasts.
You'll also have amazing views of Lake Merritt right from your balcony and from the bedroom.

I have found much peace living in The Essex building over the years and hope that others can enjoy the same luxury. This property feel extremely safe with 24/7 doormen and other security measures in place. With breathtaking views of Lake Merritt, the location of this property can't be beat. Just take a step out the front entrance and you'll be right in front of the lake for a morning jog, evening stroll or a Saturday morning trip to the local farmer's market. Or perhaps you love to swim and would prefer to use the outdoor swimming pool with panoramic views of the lake. You won't be disappointed either way.
