Cozy hideaway

We loved this place. It was close to a lot of shops and restaurants. The place itself was very well organized, good bed, nice little kitchen area and small but adequate bath. Easy access and easy to reach the owner.

Our priority was to have a place to sleep and shower while visiting Berkeley.There was also a microwave, mini fridge , coffee kroeg available if needed.Those needs were fulfilled and we are thankful.The host communicated promptly and provided instructions.There wasn’t a place to park as advertised. Driveway was completely occupied though our stay.Ventilation was poor a bathroom exhaust was helpful.We didnt use the air/ heat unit due to condition of the filter.In summary, host was good with communication and our needs were met.Thankful.

Communication was excellent and the location can't be beat. Cute little spot, probably a bit pricey for what it is but also the bay area so...The only "negative" thing that really happened was that the parking promised in the ad and other materials was blocked by a truck with a cover. There was plentiful street parking and all restrictions end Friday at 6pm. I was only there for the weekend so not such a big deal, however, I was told to "just ignore the signs" and that is not good advice in Berkeley. Other things to note - the space has very limited windows (3 small ones) so not much natural light. The lighting in the space is very bright with no ability to dim. The coffee maker is a Keurig, which is fine, but should be highlighted as I brought grounds. Pods are provided. The apartments is generally very clean but needs a deep clean. You can see lots of dust behind the TV and if you move any furniture.
