Lake Forest 3303 is nestled back adjacent to the Sea Pines Forest Preserve. It is a quiet community in a convenient location with tennis courts and pool facilities on site. It has a wonderful back deck overlooking a large lagoon that leads into the preserve. Lawton Stables is a short walk, and Harbour Town is a quick bike ride, or use the Sea Pines Trolley to access the beach club, Sea Pines Center and South Beach Marina.
Unit 3303 has a king size bed in the master and two twin beds in the guest room. Living room has a pull out sleeper sofa.

The unit needs some renovations. The second step leading into the unit is sinking. Also the entryway has sinking boards. The worst part is the entry area leading into the master bath. That area is sinking so bad that it feels like you are going to crash through. There are some serious upgrades needed. Very outdated.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was exactly as described in the listing. The condo was clean and in a nice quiet location. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the morning watching the turtles and the giant allegator! We only had one issue, the lock on the front door stopped working, I called the office and within 10 minutes someone was there to make sure everything was working correctly, turns out just a dead battery. We had an amazing time and will look at this condo again when we plan our next trip to HHI.

We were very happy with our Villa. It had a great layout and tastefully decorated. It was in a beautiful setting in the woods by the lagoon. Even though we didn’t cook, the kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed the location, but some might think it is a little far from the beach and Harbourtown. We rode our bikes most of the time and loved that.

Good but could be great

Overall the place worked for our short stay. Pictures are accurate. Loved the separation of the two bedrooms and bathrooms. Location was good and complex was quiet. My only disappointment was that the place needs a serious spring cleaning. Everything appears clean but things like the baseboards, blinds and even the shower glass need attention. Even the inside of the dishwasher was filled with leftover dishwasher soap. Not sure if it works properly. With some spring cleaning, the place could go from good to great!

It appeared the unit had not been rented for awhile causing a distinct musty / mold smell within the unit.Stayed one evening thinking the AC would help clear out the unit, but unfortunately had to move to another rental.

This is one of our favourite villas in the Lake Forest complex, and accommodates 1 and 2 couples quite comfortably.

The property was perfect for our family get away. Very nicely updated kitchen(with all the needed tools) made it easy to quick meals. You also can't beat the activities and accommodations in Sea Pines. Would absolutely stay again.
