No matter when you visit, our four season lakefront cottage has something to offer everyone. Come enjoy and start making Pure Michigan memories in this charming cottage on beautiful Black Lake. A well equipped spacious kitchen will make cooking meals a breeze. A dining room that is perfect for both family or candlelight dinners for two. Our cozy living room with lake views, is the perfect place to binge watch your favorite series, watch a game or cuddle up with a good book. Step out to the sunroom for the best sunrises over Black Lake, a wonderful place to sip a glass of wine and soak it all in after a great day. The table in the sunroom is ideal for puzzles or family game night. Off of the sunroom, you'll find a deck with an eating area and a grill. A fire pit with adirondack chairs lakeside is lake life at its finest. Also on the first floor you will find a full laundry room, luxurious master bedroom with king bed and a large full bath with double vanity. Upstairs you'll find a bunk room with two sets of bunk beds, a bedroom with a queen bed, a bedroom with a full size bed, a half bath and a hangout space perfect for the kiddos (complete with futon, TV, DVD player and classic Nintendo games). Located minutes away from ATV/snowmobile trails and golf. Bringing your boat, message owner. Kayaks, lilypad, hammock, cornhole, badminton and paddleboards available for your use. We have recently added a lined pickleball court with a net, paddles and balls. Lake frontage is fairly shallow, clear and sandy bottom: perfect for kiddos. Look no further, this is it!

This was a great house for our family vacation! We appreciated the easy lake access, all the extras (kayaks, paddle boards, pickleball, board games, etc), and the quiet neighborhood. There was plenty of space inside and out, even when we had guests visiting, and the house was cozy and comfortable. Owner was easy to communicate with. We'd definitely stay here again!

Excellent location on a beautiful lake. The main floor was very spacious and offered a great space for games, reading. and relaxing. The lake has a very sandy bottom so fun for water play. The cabin is well equipped with kayak, paddle boards, and swimming mat for all ages.

Filled our needs very well. Perfect location for us to explore. Relaxing evenings.

Enjoyed kayaks and kids loved the floating raft and swimming. Relaxing campfire helped us wind down a couple evenings.. Made a day trip to Mackinaw island and down to Alpena. Lots of parking room. Well supplied kitchen, and games for the kids.

We had such a great time at Black Lake, Onaway MIThe house is beautiful and huge! They redid the kitchen and put new countertops and new handles on the cupboards and wow it really stands out.This is our fourth time going, and we have a great time and create so many good memories.We caught a lot of fish. Our host went above and beyond again and made sure we had everything we needed. A huge snowstorm hit Ohio and she let us stay another night so we would get home safe and sound the next day. Can't say enough about the host and the beautiful home.

We had a long weekend with family here and it was perfect! The house has so many fun amenities; kayaks, paddle boards, a pickle ball court, cornhole, a Nintendo with vintage games; it was perfect for kids and adults. The property was great and being right on the water was perfect. The lake is pretty sandy and is shallow for a long ways out. It also wasn’t too busy so was great for boating and water skiing. It’s a quieter part of the state and if you’re looking for a place that makes it easy to have fun with friends and family and connect, this is the perfect place to do that!

Charming and so much more!

This property totally exceeded our expectations! The cabin itself is so cute and comfortably accommodated 2 families for a total of 10 people. It definitely gives the up-north vibe and the views of the lake are incredible. The host was amazing, answering any question very quickly. We played yard games, went kayaking, paddle boarding, had a bon fire and enjoyed all the amenities offered here. It was like our own private resort on Black Lake. We will definitely stay here again!

Great Lake location

Had a great stay at Black Lake with friends for my birthday weekend! Cottage is spacious and clean, extra fridge is a nice bonus. There was plenty of pots, pans, silverware and spices to cook with. The lake is shallow and sandy with kayaks and float to have fun on. If not in the water, had fun around the campfire and playing cornhole. Also the pickleball court was so much fun to learn to play. Pizza from Dirty Duck Saloon was very good and only 6 minutes away.
