Nice place

This is a great house. The only drawback is that the house backs to route 1 (road noise at night). Otherwise this is a great place with easy access to the beach

Great beach week to close off summer

The house exceeded our expectations. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen well-stocked. We were walking distance to the beach, though note getting there involves crossing a major highway. There were lots of board games and tennis courts to keep us busy. Thanks for a fun week!

The property is lovely and well situated. I would say that the bedding needs to be updated especially the pillows. But overall, we had a great time.

After 50 years… never to return

Nothing! But what was the worst part is they “ don’t stand behind “, their homes. Nothing they stated was accurate and nor did they care. Dirty, no towels, NEVER got blankets even after I asked for them. Broken chair left in home for someone to have possibly sat on and gotten hurts( parents came with us 90 and 86 yrs old )Human waist dripping down the toilet. I could go on but I think you can visualize. It’s a shame because before this management company took over the property was run so much more efficient.

Great house and location - but absolutely filthy

My group had read previous reviews by recent guests and reached out to the property manager ahead of our stay this week expressing concern about the cleanliness of the house. Past reviews were right on point - the house was filthy! We arrived and there was food in the microwave, on the floor, under the sofa, all over the stove. Fingerprints on the doors. Countertops were disgusting. I called mgmt and there was a cleaning crew at the house in a short period of time (we had to leave) and they brought it up to bare minimum standards. We are living in a pandemic for goodness sake~! At the minimum the floors should be mopped, counters wiped, etc. Our feet were black after walking on the floors barefoot for 5 minutes they were so dirty. We were so disgusted that we just did the cleaning ourselves. Glad to have brought Clorox wipes, gloves, and sponges. After we cleaned it was fine. The house should have a book of complex rules/trash pick up/etc. The check in desk just tells you to download the app for any information. Love that approach. "Figure it out yourself" Another thing that annoyed me was that when we booked our reservation - we received an email asking how many people were in our party. I replied 8 and they billed us for our badges/facility use fee for 4 people. Wrong for me to assume that 4 badges would have come with the house - but it's just irresponsible of the management to surprise you with another $180 in charges after the coordination was already communicated. The house location is amazing - yes, close to 1 - but you don't hear it. We brought bikes and had a great time riding around the paths of the complex. The pools are ok, small. The beachside pools are a great option. The beach is amazing!! Overall the experience was a great one because we made the best of it. If the house was clean we would have been much happier.

Great stay for a large group

This home is spacious and had everything we needed to make our Thanksgiving stay pleasant. The multiple TVs allowed adults and kids to be happy! The amenities of Sea Colony (the indoor pools mostly) were an added bonus. Some updating and fixing of minor things is needed but would overall recommend.

The structure of the house itself was great but could have been cleaned better. The house has a good selection of games and toys for young kids. The kitchen only has one liquid measuring cup, no other measuring spoons so make sure to bring them if you need them.

Do not stay here!!!!!

This is by far the lowest quality beach house I have ever stayed in. It had no working dryer, it was filthy upon arrival, no working tub in the master bathroom, a broken garbage disposal, and it was filthy and run down. Every room had dirty carpets, stains, broken towel racks, broken toilet handles. It’s almost like the place hadn’t been serviced in 2 years. What’s worse is that the owner and Vacasa are deceitful. We were never told that the dryer was broken and when we arrived there were dryer racks in the laundry room...... aka..... they knew it was broken and didn’t tell us. We had 14 people staying in a filthy run down house that looked amazing online. My entire family was disgusted and the state of the hone ruined our trip. We were told a dryer would be delivered by Wednesday, then every Vacasa team member went dark. They weren’t even responsive on bringing us extra towels. On top of all of this the cable boxes didn’t work, Comcast even came out to investigate and said the lines into the home were bad and the owners wouldn’t approve them being fixed. I don’t know if Vacasa or the lazy pathetic owner is to blame, but I HIGHLY recommend NOT staying in this home EVER.

We are surprised to see the contents of this review as they do not align with the circumstances we have documented. We have noted that our staff had worked daily to rectify every issue as it occurred. Extra towels were delivered as requested. The dryer that was reported out of stock has since been installed. Our plumber addressed the toilet issues promptly. The cable company found the line faulty and corrected the issue while on site. The towel bar was previously reported, and due to the drywall work needed, could not be completed with guests in the home. This home has since undergone a deep clean. We hope the refund provided shows our desire to rectify guest concerns. We hope you will allow us the opportunity to provide you with a truly exceptional vacation experience in the future.

We have been going to Sea colony for 15 years. Great community. Beach is maintained very well. Staff is friendly and polite. We love it.

Spacious but no privacy

Property space was great. Kitchen very well appointed. Furnishings a little tired. The houses are so close together you actually feel no privacy at all. Nice house but probably wouldn’t stay again because neighbors look right in your windows.
