Wonderful Beach House

The house was very pretty, had all the essentials we needed, very close the the beach - we walked, and to the shopping area - again we walked. Found grocery stores near by, as well as restaurants, winery and nail spa. Loved where we stayed and Bethany Beach.

Perfect spot

We had a great few days here with extended family. Plenty of space to gather and share meals with the ability to spread out when needed. Perfect location to walk to the beach and shops. The house was clean, and the beds were comfortable. We like to eat in, so I’d bring more cooking/cutting utensils if we come again. Would definitely stay here again if we go back to Bethany.

Great getaway!

Communication with the host was great, he was quick to respond to any questions/issues we had. The house is huge - plenty of room for large groups/families. All of the rooms are a great size. The only problem we had was figuring out how to lock the front door :) - maybe that's a common style lock but there was only one person in our group that knew how to lock the deadbolt. It's in a great location just one block from the start of the boardwalk and close to town. Granted we were there before the season really started but it was really peaceful and quiet. Overall we were very pleased with everything and definitely enjoyed our stay! Thanks again.

Lovely house with some issues ignored

The house was spacious and mostly comfortable. There were some issues brought to the host, including a gas fireplace that wasn’t operational, 2nd floor overhead electrical devices had no power and difficulty with water/ice dispenser on the refrigerator. Sadly our host’s response was that he could get someone to fix those things, but not while we stayed there. The perception of my family members was that our host didn’t want to be bothered the last week of the year, which is reasonable, as long as you don’t rent your property that week. It felt disrespectful to us all, and we collectively decided to simply enjoy our family time and live with the inconveniences.

Great House!

We love the set up of this house! There is ample space for gathering as a group as well as finding a quiet space for alone time. Since we were in town for a wedding, it was great that 3 of the bedrooms all had private bathrooms and the other 2 shared one. Pleanty of room for getting ready. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Would love to rent again.

Wonderful beach trip

This house was great for our group of three families. Easy access to the beach and very walkable to the Bethany boardwalk and all of its attractions. The house was spacious and a great layout. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.

Wonderful house in a wonderful location!

The house is updated, clean and works really well for large groups. There is a nice screened-in porch, the kitchen is updated and roomy and a relaxing family room. The 2 large master suites each have their own bathrooms which have been updated and there is another bedroom which has their own bathroom. The middle rooms share a bath and each of them can sleep three people. Overall, a great house and 3 blocks from the beach (2 minute walk) as well as close to the downtown area. Very enjoyable stay!

Perfect Winter Escape

The house was gorgeous and really comfortable. Wifi worked well enough for several adults working from home and teens doing school work. The house was very comfortable and clean with a great location.

Weekend getaway

The house was perfect for a much needed long family weekend away from the “new Covid norm” of remote work and school. Great location, spacious and a lovely home. Plenty of room for all of us to spread out for work and school and then take our “breaks” at the beach.

Family Vacation

The space was more than adequate for my large family's needs. The amenities were as indicated. The proximity to the beach and downtown was extremely convenient. Correspondence with the owner, Mike, was timely and efficient. I highly recommend renting this property and hope to do so again.

Excellent beach house close to town

Large house with a wonderful layout, very comfortable, and walking distance to beach and town. We had a wonderful off season stay. The owner was super helpful with great communication and worked really hard to make a last minute trip possible for us, even though they were on vacation as well. This is a large house with lots of room to spread out and relax. Room to come together with a large group for activities and lots of areas for quiet and privacy as well. Very comfortable beds, which I always appreciate in a rental home. Kitchen was well equipped. The entire house is beautiful, well maintained, and full outfitted. There was no internet or TV cable while we were there, but I assume that's because it was off season and we were able to get LTE (Verizon) on our phones and iPad. We did not miss having TV at all and enjoyed playing cards and the board games that were in the house. We definitely look forward to renting the house again.
