We had a wonderful trip to Block Island!! The house was clean, appliances were up-to-date, many bedrooms and a ton of space for a larger group. Close enough to Champlin's and the Oar and very easy to get elsewhere. Our host was very responsive and easy to get in touch with, although we did not need to reach the host during our stay, as we had no problems. Would highly recommend and would definitely book again!

We had a family wedding on Block Island and chose to stay in the home. What a perfect location! The separate Barn was great for additional family or for teenagers looking for a bit of privacy. The rooms were comfortable and the property secluded enough to have be quiet and tranquil - but close enough to the action that no one felt left out. Bonus is we were walking distance to the Oar (best mudslide on the island although food was not great). We would definitely stay at this location again!

Great stay!

House is nicely located not far from Champliin’s and The Oar so it is convenient to our boat. Also, like that it is directly off the main road rather than up a dirt road in the woods. The front porch was our favorite spot with beautiful views and always a nice breeze. Perfect spot for morning coffee or sunset wine!

Amazing vacation

This house has it all! It is our second year staying here. Katie is great to deal with. The house was very clean and has something for everyone! My parents and brother stayed in the garage. It worked out perfect to have their own space!

Overwhelmed

It’s a unique property with rolling hills, a pond, a “barn” with an “apartment” on top & large game room on the bottom. Exceeded our expectations and met our families needs.

We rented the house for a week for us, our 6 children, two partners, and a grandson. The photos don’t do it justice…the house is immaculate and spectacular. Out of the hustle and bustle of the downtown area, it was quiet and peaceful. The kitchen is fantastic and well equipped. Internet is DSL and marginal at best, but that is true basically everywhere on the island….plan on using a hotspot if you can’t unplug. The tv room/den has DirectTV. The only room without AC was the game room in the barn and with the door and windows open it was a great place to hang out. We had a really great week!!!!

Beautiful & Quite

We recently had the most incredible family vacation at this charming beach house. The house, sitting on top of a hill, this rental offered the perfect blend of privacy and convenience. It was so easy to hop around and discover the beauty of the surroundings. Whether we wanted to hit the beach, head to The Oar, or simply enjoy the island life, this beach house was the ideal starting point for all our adventures. One of the highlights was the barn, a treasure trove of indoor activities that kept our family entertained, rain or shine. The ping pong, foosball, and pool matches were an absolute blast. We spent a lot of time in the back yard, where a nice patio overlooks the private pond. Cooking was a breeze with the multiple grills available. This rental's most unique and heartwarming feature was Buddy, the Lonely Donkey, who resided just across the street. We witnessed the joy he brought to both locals and tourists, as everyone gathered to visit and feed him. It added a delightful touch to our vacation, creating a sense of connection with the local community and fostering wonderful conversations with fellow travelers.

fantastic stay

lovely home, new construction, beautifully appointed and equipped kitchen, fantastic master bedroom, roomy bedrooms in general, great dining spaces, spacious decks and great yard. barn apartment was perfect for a couple with 2 youngins. katie was very responsive and helpful throughout. a terrific experience, thru and thru.
