This updated cottage is located just three blocks from the South Beach of Lake Michigan, two blocks from Kids' Corner Park, and a short walk to the downtown area.

"You will hardly believe your eyes when you step foot into this beautifully decorated vacation cottage. Not only is the location to die for, but the cottage itself will also leave you feeling simply refreshed as you discover the beauty both inside and outside. INSIDE THE HOME

This home has recently been totally repainted with other updates including a new kitchen with upgraded stainless appliances, a renovated bathroom, and beautifully refinished hardwood floors. The three bedrooms and one bath will accommodate 8 guests comfortably. The living room features plenty of comfortable seating and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV with a DVD player. Additionally, there is a large laundry area downstairs complete with an oversized washer and dryer. The kitchen is fully equipped with all pots and pans, dishes, utensils, baking dishes, and most kitchen essentials.

OUTDOOR SPACE

In the back is a wonderful 14' x 14' screened-in porch for relaxing on summer evenings. Also, enjoy the fire pit as well as table and chairs privately located on brick patios in the back of the home. The fenced-in backyard is perfect for cooking out or playing yard games.

In the outdoor shed, you will find three adult bikes, beach chairs, a cooler, a beach wagon, kids' sand toys, and outdoor games including corn hole that are provided for your use.

Parking: Parking is provided for 2 cars in the driveway and as available, street parking in front of the home

Ahhh, the beach. The sugar sand and blue waters of Lake Michigan and South Beach are just a short walk away. Also, a short walk away is downtown. South Haven is your classic beach town community with specialty boutique shopping and eclectic eateries. The check in process and information needed for the property was easily organized and accessible. Great for a stay with kids as there is enough space plus a great screened in patio. Walkable to downtown and the beach including a great park for kids of all ages.

The property is just as pictured! Had everything we needed and the location was so convenient. We loved walking to Kid’s Corner and then taking the blue stairs down to the beach for sunset. The screened in porch was so nice for relaxing after a day at the beach and watching the storms roll in. Would absolutely stay again!

So happy you had a good time and the home was really clean. We do mention in the listing that there isn't a dishwasher in the home, but we do provide dish soap to clean dishes the old fashioned way for all guests. Thank you

We really enjoyed our stay at this cute 3-bedroom, 1-bath home. The location was fantastic—close to the beach, playgrounds, shops, and restaurants, making it easy to get around and enjoy the area.The backyard was a wonderful space for the kids to run around and play, while the screened-in porch was the perfect spot to relax after a day at the beach. We also appreciated the shed stocked with beach supplies, which was such a thoughtful and convenient touch.The home is older, but it was clean, well cared for, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kids especially loved the bunk room—it was definitely a highlight for them!Overall, this was a great place for our family, and we would happily stay here again.

We were expecting a “cottage” when we rented it but we’re definitely shocked and disappointed. The furniture and rugs were very dirty, the yard and driveway were weedy and unkept. The furniture has plywood for the bed springs. We used to the place to shower and sleep only. It was also very buggy. Not what we were expecting, especially for the price. Would not recommend.

Lovely place and location!

My daughter and her family loved their stay. It was a great location for a family with young kids with terrific access to the park to beat all parks and the beach. Great Getaway!

This was the perfect spot for an annual girlfriends' getaway. A clean, comfortable home that was close to the beach - and anything we could need for a beach day was provided our host - close to great shopping, close to lovely restaurants. We enjoyed morning coffee on the screened in porch and an evening fire in the fire pit. Just a great, great stay. We'll definitely be back!!

Great little cottage blocks from the beach

We really enjoyed our stay at flip flop cottage. It was very clean and had plenty of supplies to make our stay comfortable. We especially loved the big screened-in porch. My 4 year old enjoyed the games and books.
