Kids & pets play in fenced backyard w/play set, herb garden, gas grill on screened porch, indoor & outdoor fire pit areas, picnic table, private fishing dock, fresh eggs laid by our own chickens. The surroundings were amazing... Being able to spend the majority of our time on the screened patio was a true blessing for our fur baby

Another Year

2nd year staying at this property. Property, location and owners were the best. The house was very clean, comfortable and located close to biking and walking paths. The owners were very accommodating, wanting to make sure we didn’t want for anything.

We truly enjoyed hosting Paul and Elaine. We can't wait to see them again next year, our favorite "snowbirds". They aren't just guests, they are now good friends. And they left the house just the way they found it! Who could ask for more?!

Best stay ever

Joanne and Brando are the best hosts we’ve ever had and we’ve had some great ones. They are so kind and helpful. The house is so comfortable with an expansive porch that overlooks a beautiful pond. We love it here so much we didn’t hesitate to book another month while we wait for our house to be finished. Highly recommended!

Quite and Relaxing

Joanne was very responsive and answered all of our questions quickly prior and during the reservation process. The house is very clean and relaxing. We really enjoyed relaxing on the patio, and fishing in the pond. Caught quite a few nice bass. Its nice having the country feel, but still close to everything you need. We will definitely keep this in mind the next time we are visiting the area.

3rd Year Renting

This property has so much to offer. Very comfortable and clean. Joanne and Brando continue to go out of their way to make sure we are comfortable. We enjoy bicycling and walking, close to trails. We caught and released bass back into the pond. We will continue to rent year after year. Our guests enjoyed it just as much as we did. Highly recommend it.

Anniversary Special

We really enjoyed our 5 night stay. Joanne and Brando were fantastic hosts. They shocked us by providing a bottle of champagne and a cake. Very unexpected. The home was comfortable and we spent most evenings on the dock watching the sun go down. Joanne provided us many suggestions for places to visit and dine. We took her up on many of those. If you want to spend some time in a country setting, this could be your choice.

Quiet Country Setting

Owners were very flexible with check in and responsive to requests. Beautiful view of small lake from large screen porch and dock area. We enjoyed the variety of wildlife at the lake from birds to rabbits, and turtles. House was very clean and comfortable with a nice hot tub, BBQ grill,, fire pits, and fishing rods. We really enjoyed our visit which went by entirely too fast.

Winter Getaway

Our rental was exactly as described. Even though close to the main road it felt like you were in the country. Saw plenty of wildlife. The location was central to the places we wanted to go. The owners, Joanne & Brando, we’re communicative, suggesting places to see as well as making sure we didn’t need anything. Definitely recommend. We are coming back.

Hidden Gem in Odessa

We needed a nearby house to stay in for a week with our pets while our floors were being done. This home was absolutely perfect for us! It was peaceful, clean(inside & out), comfortable, and Joanne & Brando were the perfect hosts. The fenced yard was fabulous for our dog, covered parking was nice, huge screened patio was the place to watch the sandhill cranes. Thank you, Joanne!

Peaceful & Relaxing Getaway

Truly loved our stay in this home, very private and peaceful. The home was beautifully set up, and everything was very clear and organized when it came to the requirements and the local area. My children were able to fish daily and we were, within walking distance to an adorable market and extremely close to amazing beaches. Thank you so much, Joanne

Beautiful home and hosts

We had a lovely time visiting this home. It was very clean and felt like home inside. I brought my two children, one an infant and the other a toddler. Behind the home was a swing set and slide that my son loved playing on everyday. There is a lake in front of the house that we enjoyed as well. The kitchen is well stocked as well as towels in the bathrooms. Beds are super comfy. We will stay again when we are in the area. Thank you again for such a lovely stay.
