Doe Hill Retreat provides tranquility and comfort in a mountain home perfect for families, friends, and couples. Enjoy the best the Blue Ridge mountains have to offer... hike to Linville Falls or into Linville Gorge, cruise the Blue Ridge Parkway, carve the slopes at local Ski resorts, or enjoy nature from the front porch. Located < 1 mile from the Parkway, 30 minutes from Ski Sugar & Ski Beech, 1 hour from Asheville with its amazing food scene, 40 minutes from Boone & ASU, and just across the street from Linville Falls Winery.

This peaceful and private home includes a large yard, wide covered porch, and comfortable interior spaces as well. You will have the entire home and surrounding lawn with a beautiful mountain view to yourself. With 3 bedrooms (each having a queen bed) as well as the queen size sofa bed in the living room, it easily accommodates up to 8 guests. The bedrooms include a master bedroom with en suite bathroom and the other 2 bedrooms share a full bathroom. A fully and thoughtfully equipped kitchen is perfect for making family meals. Or, if you prefer, enjoy take out from the local restaurants in the dining room or out on the porch overlooking the large private lawn. Long range mountain views in all seasons!

Inside, we have board and card games, a nice selection of books, and even a few basic toys for the little ones. Internet service is very good, allowing you to stream movies or your favorite shows through the TV or your own device both indoors and out on the porch. We've recently upgraded to wood and tile floors throughout.
The large yard is perfect for children and adults alike. Bring your soccer ball or enjoy the yard games available for you at the house. Gather around the fire pit in the evening with your marshmallows and the roasting sticks provided in the kitchen! Guests are also welcome to take a stroll down the quiet road to visit the outdoor sculpture gallery at the road entrance.

In any season, Doe Hill invites you to curl up with a good book, enjoy the many indoor and outdoor games, relax on the porch, or head out for a glass of wine at Linville Falls Winery a short walk (or drive) away. Explore the wide range of activities and beautiful scenery of the NC mountains, knowing you have a great place to land at the end of the day. And while you're at it, say hello to the the turkeys, deer, and other friendly wildlife as they take their evening strolls.
