Creekside cabin w/ hot tub, fireplace & trail

Your secluded escape to the Blue Ridge Mountains awaits! This newly renovated cabin, is a rustic 3-bedroom, 2-bath vacation rental that sits nestled among the trees on 3 private acres, with a cascading creek steps away. You`ll be within a short drive of the Blue Ridge Parkway, scenic waterfalls and overlooks, mountain biking, hiking, skiing, and other outdoor adventures. End your evening gathered around the stone fire pit and outdoor table, or soak in the hot tub!

You have the entire cabin to yourself including our private creekside hiking trail. You will enjoy the outside fire pit and charcoal grill. The beatufil deck with rocking chairs to sit on while you listen to the creek babble. Or stay inside and enjoy our indoor fireplace.

Travel to our cabin is very easy. We are just 1 mile off the main road. And a grocery store is conveniently located at the bottom of the hill (1 mile away).

If you wish to go explore there is plenty to do nearby.

Roan Mountain State Park- 20 min away
Elk River Falls - 20 min away
Otter Falls Trail - 25 min away

In winter you can enjoy nearby snowy fun:

This property is located on it`s own 3 acre lot.

There is also a pullout couch and daybed in common spaces that can sleep 4 guests.

Note: A $250 refundable damage deposit will be taken on the day of checkout and will be returned to you within 5 days.
1) Tampering or blocking exterior surveillance cameras is a major security violation and the reservation will be immediately terminated without refund.

2) This is a NO SMOKING property. We charge $10 for every cigarette butt found outside, and $500 for any evidence (including smell) of smoking inside.

3) No food or drinks in the hot tub.

4) Unauthorized Late Checkout fee: $50 per 30 minutes after checkout time beginning at checkout time.

Winter Getaway

Our family had a fabulous time at this cozy little cabin. The cabin itself was perfect for our family of five. What surrounds the cabin really made our trip. My girls loved exploring the nature trail and relaxing in the hot tub! We even had the chance to enjoy snow!

Weekend Get Away

We enjoyed this cabin for our weekend trip to get a Christmas tree! We all enjoyed the hot tub and the kids had fun in the game room! This cabin has a cozy feel and we had a great time!

North Carolina getaway

My family had a wonderful stay at the Oak Creek Cabin. Everything we were looking for a perfect getaway. From the hot tub to the fire pit and hiking along the beautiful stream, our children were never bored. Great location to everywhere we wanted to go see. 5 star rating all the way.

Quiet and Convenient

Beautiful, updated cabin had everything we needed for our getaway in the mountains. Conveniently located and easy to get to, yet it felt like we were secluded. The cabin is surrounded by trees and has it's very own creek that you can hear from the back porch. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Beautiful Home!

Our family loved this home. Very clean, the setting was breathe taking and peaceful. The stream behind the house made our grandbabies so happy. There is a hiking trail as well. I would highly recommend this vacation home.. The host was so helpful and responsive.

wonderful getaway!

Beautiful home! I even took photos so I can mirror some of the designs in my own home. Comfortable setting. Beds and linen were snuggle X's 100! No stiff scratchy sheets and fluffy comforter. Huge kitchen with lots of gadgets. And you cannot beat the location! Close enough to attractions but far enough that you are secluded. Firepit that sits along the creek, where you can relax and listen to nature. Nice trail that runs along the creek that is easy for younger kidos to come along for an adventure! Last but not least by far chilling out on the porch in a rocking chair, still able to listen to the creek running by. I would definitely stay again! And again!

Fun Birthday week!!

My daughters family including my 3 grandchildren ages 2-9 had a great week. They loved the creek, jacuzzi, and the hiking trails. The space was a perfect fit. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your home!! They enjoy hiking to Elk Park Falls and Trout fishing. Also loved The Italian Restaurant nearby.

Wonderful Home!

We had a great time and we would definitely recommend this home! We particularly enjoyed the hot tub, ping pong table, and hiking trail. The house was beautifully decorated and the environment was very peaceful. The host was always very quick to respond. The home was conveniently located to many of the sites we enjoyed visiting including Hawksnest Zipline, Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster, Linville Caverns, Blowing Rock, and Foggy Mountain Gem Mine. We packed a lot in to our short trip and it was always nice returning to the comfort of this home.

Charming Cabin

Charming rustic/modern cabin that feels like you’re in a treehouse. Kitchen is very well equipped and the whole cabin is stocked with thoughtful touches. Owners communicate well. Very convenient to a great grocery store 3 minutes away. As others have noted, sound travels very easily between bedrooms so there is not much privacy. The hot tub is a great addition. The local Mexican restaurant Puerto Nuevo is fantastic. Overall we had a wonderful stay!

A Little Piece of Heaven

The cabin was wonderful! It was so clean and beautifully decorated. Everything you could possibly need was provided. We loved sitting on the porch relaxing, having our morning coffee and evening beverages. The little stream can be heard from the porch and just adds to the serene setting. The rhododendrons were in full bloom and were beautiful! The hot tub was also very relaxing after a day of hiking. The cabin was centrally located to everything we wanted to do. Andrea checked on us several times to see if we needed anything. We can't wait to come back!

We enjoyed this property immensely! It was very clean and well appointed. The hosts have thought of everything! The beds are very comfortable and linens are great quality. There were plenty of extra blankets and pillows. The couch in the living area is super comfy! There is plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the property and it is 20 minutes from anything you would want to do in the mountains! It is especially good for families with children. We really loved that the kitchen had a fireplace and large table. We are planning a return trip with our kids, and have recommended it to my mother in law who has company from France who want to visit the NC Mountains while they are here. Overall, excellent property!

My wife and I celebrated our honeymoon at the Creekside Cabin and had a wonderful stay. Everything was very clean and it smelled great inside. The vibe was very rustic and the construction quite unique. As an engineer, I found myself looking around at the quality of the build and admiring how dry the basement was compared to ours back home. The appliances were high end and everything was functional. The hot tub was HUGE! It was so relaxing after a day exploring to sit back in the hot tub and listen to the creek nearby.My only critique of the property is that there was only one television in the living room so we could not cuddle in bed and watch our shows. This is more a personal preference thing as some folks don't watch TV in bed for various reasons so YMMV. This did not in any way detract from our stay though and we will definitely be making a return trip as soon as we can get away! The host's communications were helpful, informative, and much appreciated. Could not be more grateful for such a smooth first VRBO experience.The thing that surprised me the most not having spent much of any time in the NC mountains was how cool it was during our stay. In the middle of summer, it was around 75 degrees outside midday and got into the low 60s at night. Each town had things to offer and we tried to check out as many local favorites as possible. Linville winery was a lot of fun and the blackberry wine was probably the best sweet wine I have ever tasted.

Perfect mountain retreat

We loved our stay at Roko and Andrea’s mountain cabin! The cabin itself it beautiful, completely updated and tastefully decorated. We appreciated the kitchen amenities, as we cooked dinner one night and breakfast there. My daughter also loved the wooden blocks, Lego’s and bean bag game they provided. The creek and hiking trail just out front were fun for some outdoor exploring. It’s centrally located so we could visit Boone, Blowing Rock and Banner Elk with just a short drive. It was the perfect family mountain retreat for us and would love to come back again!

Family Fall Trip

Beautiful, authentic yet modern rustic cabin in ideal and convenient location for fall adventures. We loved hearing the sounds of the creek right outside the back door! The small hiking trail on the property and the ability to easily have the kiddos play in the creek while enjoying the fire pit was perfect. A beautiful, comfortable cabin ready for great adventures. 😀

Beautiful newly renovated cabin on a private lot

This property is secluded and absolutely gorgeous! The cabin is spacious and well designed with all the latest modern amenities. The hosts thought of everything to make our trip comfortable and seamless. The cabin was so beautifully renovated that it looked like it was just built. Our kids enjoyed playing in the creek, making s’mores, playing with legos, and watching movies on a big screen tv. The grocery store was conveniently located just down the road and our favorite spots, Grandfather Mountain and Linville Falls, are close by. We had an amazing trip and will definitely come back!

Wonderful property!

We had a great stay with our 5 young kids (ages 8mo-8 years). The cabin was pristine and really beautiful. The rooms are all very large, so we were able to easily fit our needed pack n' plays for the littlest ones. The kids loved roaming the creek and hiking trail, and had the run of the basement where the owners have provided a few toys. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch; listening to the creek in the evenings. The kitchen was well equipped as we ate all of our meals at the cabin. The grocery store is very convenient to the property with a great waterfall to explore across the street. We had plenty of great hikes and destinations within 30 minutes of the cabin. The kids are already wishing to go back!
