Fully renovated and ready for your stay!

Come escape and relax in this completely renovated 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom beach front cottage. “Pura Vida” will be sure to ease your mind with expansive views of the gulf and white sand beaches right outside your door.

Open concept dining and living area overlook panoramic gulf views. Ocean front deck with built in bar, and comfortable seating provide the perfect place to enjoy a beachside meal, cold drink, and relaxation. New boardwalk with foot washing station leads to a gate that will allow for safety for small children. Hot/cold outdoor shower located at the top of the boardwalk.

The hallway leads to 3 well appointed bedrooms. The double bunk room can sleep 4 and is the perfect place for kids or teens. This room opens to the hallway with a shared bathroom with the 2nd queen bedroom. The master bedroom features a king size bed and private bathroom.

Newly renovated kitchen will provide ample cooking space and utensils for your needs. Cordless Roman shades throughout the home allow for privacy and room darkening.

Other amenities to include wireless internet service, multiple flat panel smart tv/ROKU that guests may utilize with their own log in.

Laundry room with separate entry located underneath home by parking pad.

For allergy and furniture maintenance reasons, Pura Vida is dog friendly ONLY! Thank you for your understanding.

Booster seat/chair attachment for children 9+ months old is available for use.

Pura Vida was the perfect spot for a sweet family getaway on St George Island. The house was clean! The owner very easy to communication with. 5 stars!

What a wonderful stay! The house is in a great location on SGI - close enough to shops and restaurants to bike/cart, but far enough away from the busy intersection. The amenities and layout of the house is perfect, especially the expansive deck which is ideal for watching the sunrise and sunset. The house is well taken care of and very comfortable - the perfect place for a getaway with our pups! Owners were also communicative and friendly.

This house was so cozy and in the most PERFECT location. It was quaint and nicely decorated. There was a large picnic table outside, a hammock underneath the house, and a bigger couch than were pictured in the listing, so that was a pleasant surprise. The beds were all very comfortable. The bedrooms were a little cramped, but we spent all our time outside so that didn't really matter to us. This house has the best rinsing station as you come up from the beach onto the deck. It was so easy to use and rinse the sand off everything, wash our dog, etc. Some things were not quite as pictured and might affect the way you pack. There were not dog food bowls or chairs around the fire pit, as pictured. The refrigerator in the laundry room was very dirty both inside and out so we didn't use it. Many beach houses have a stash of beach towels and chairs, but this one did not, so bring your own. There was also no starter roll of paper towels and each bathroom had only half a roll of toilet paper, which didn't feel very hospitable as most rentals provide more than that. My only complaint is that the bunkbed room had dirty bedding when we arrived. The previous renters must have had a black lab because the two bottom bunks were covered in dog hair, even the sheets. I had to go buy detergent to wash the bedding the same day we arrived, which was not ideal but sometimes the case in pet-friendly rentals. Overall we loved the house and would stay here again.

Quaint and cozy and right on the beach - perfect for a quick weekend getaway for our family. Two minor recs - please give heads up in future should guests need to bring own TP - we usually expect to have to buy more eventually but there was zero at the house - I've come to expect at least one or two rolls hanging in the bathroom but that was not the case; we had a late night arrival and everyone had to go - awkward. Also, the dishwasher needs to be sanitized and the food trap needs to be cleaned - it smells awful - we didn't use it because of this.

Wonderful small retreat

Wonderful location right on the beach. Easy drive to get to. Beach was only yards away and there was very few people on the beach near us. House was clean and stocked well. Property lived up to its description . We enjoyed our 6 days very much and would use this property again. Many positive attributes. The only negatives I can think of are that it is a smaller 3 bedroom house so if we had filled the bedrooms it might have felt cramped. The bathrooms are small and the furniture is not comfortable. But we spent very little time sitting in the den. We tried to stay outside as much as possible.

Anniversary

Property couldn’t be better located! Cute, clean house - love, love the boardwalk to the beach and the fire pit area. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the bed in the primary room and the sofa need to be replaced as they are so uncomfortable they were unable unusable.

Pura Vida

From the location, parking, extras like labeling everything , charging ports, to the whole front house view and provided firewood, we could not have asked for more. The small bathroom showered would not stay in position so we could use it, but there were only two of us so we didn't really need it.The house is fully upgraded to have all the things you could want. Purely enjoyed our week!

We had an amazing vacation

Craig was always quick to respond. The house was beautiful and you cant beat the location. When we come back to St George we will definetly stay here. The king mattress needs be replaced. It has large impressions where guests lay the most and it made it difficult to sleep. That is my only complaint. Everything else was amazing. Like I said this will be our go too for St George island.

Much needed getaway

Relaxing and wonderful. Owners are great to work with - good communication as we were dodging hurricanes leading up to and throughout our stay :). I especially like the boardwalk onto the beach because you avoid the prickly things that grow on the beachgrass. Also the foot wash and outdoor shower were so convenient to quickly wash our furry friend of the salt and sand. We were fortunate to watch as Milton blew by south of us and got some great sunset pictures afterwards. Also loved the view and cushioned benches along the large windows facing the beach. Good food at local restaurants and such a charming community. Can’t wait to come back.

Beach House

Very nice place to stay only thing was the grass needed a good trim even down the walk way. Just wished I could have gotten a refund on the 4 days I could not stay because we were told to evacuate the island . Still a beautiful place to stay.

Family Fun

Wow! The view from this home is amazing! We stayed a week with our children and grandchildren and had a blast. Home has everything you need. Very clean, easy check in and out. We played on the beach, took long walks, rented a golf cart to ride the island. It just went by too fast. The A/C in the home works great and the beds all slept good. Thanks for sharing your home.
