This beautiful Cottage is perfect for two love birds or two besties. Is a new construction with modern amenities and beautifully decorated to a great welcome expression. Cottage Bluewater is located near Mountain Top on the cool Northside of the island above the harbor. Off parking with easy access to your cottage with endless harbor and airport views. In front of the cottage you have a deck with lounge chairs to relax in the morning with coffee and in the evening a cocktail enjoying the view.

Beautiful view although the conditions of the studio was not what I expected . I did not shower my entire stay! The location is terrible but the view is sooo amazing

Inaccurate location

When I booked the listing said that it was only an 18 minute walk from town, and the approximate location pin supported this. It was not until the day before my arrival I got the exact pin, and it was in a location much further away, about an hours longer walk. It was rather too late to make alternate plans, so I stayed, but was very frustrated by this, and it negatively impacted my visit as it limited how much I went out. I assume this is not a problem for people renting cars, but I just wanted to walk to town during the days and was unable to do so. Again, this wont be as much of a problem if you are renting a car, but if you're planning not to, like I was, then it will severely impede your trip

Most incredible stay at Bluewater Cottage with amazing ocean and green hill side view rental

My babe & I had the most incredible stay at this rental property in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands đŸ‡»đŸ‡ź. From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the host's warmth and hospitality. She went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of my stay was perfect, showing such kindness and attentiveness to all my needs. The property itself was immaculate—spotlessly clean, well-equipped with everything you could possibly need, and incredibly comfortable. It truly felt like a home away from home. Whether you're looking for relaxation or adventure, this place has it all. Terrible experience

I was in St. Thomas for over a week and this was the worst rental I’ve ever seen. The location is in a secluded area and extremely difficult to find, the property is tiny and not worth the money and the pictures are misleading. I didn’t stay here for a night and the owner is refusing to refund my money. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with my vacation.

The property was not in a condition for lease. It was not clean and appeared to be a rush to make money quickly. There was a thunderstorm and rainwater entered the living area from above the entrance door. We had to use the waste cans and towels to capture the water. No proper drainage in place above the door on the outside. Should be remove from the market until better standards in place.

Beware of this Listing

It's hard to review this particular listing, as my SO and I were never able to access it. We booked the Bluewater Cottage in October 2023 for our upcoming Feburary 2024 stay in St Thomas. 3 days prior to arrival, we had still not received ANY check-in information. I reached out to the host for clarity on the location and necessary information and was informed that a PIN would be sent over the next day. The next day came and went without any update. I reached back out on the day of our scheduled check-in and was sent a location on the other side of the island from our booking, and we were instructed by the host that we were being put in a different property. We politely declined and asked for the orignal property. The host explained that it was not available. She attempted to put us in a third property, but when we arrived, the location appeared unsafe, and again, nowhere near the location listed on this booking. We left shortly afterward and checked into a hotel in Charlotte Amalie. After explaining to the host via phone call that we would not be accepting the new accommodation, we were told that we would be issued a refund. However, it has been over 3 weeks since with multiple calls to VRBO Support and radio silence from the host. I write this review now with no refund and seemingly no end to this ordeal in sight.

Cozy and comfortable

Great studio set up. Spectacular views. Off the beaten path. Challenging and rewarding hike to the world famous banana daiquiri bar overlook, Sibs restaurant and Plantasea where we bought fresh eggs for breakfast on the patio. Great value for a relaxing out of the way time on St Thomas.

Property Meets the basic needs, but Owners provided Exceptional Customer Care

Highlights: The property owners/Managers are very helpful and went out of their way to assist us on doing our shopping of needed supplies, showed us good beach nearby with good free parking facilities and shower/restroom facilities, and more importantly crystal-clear water, clean white-sandy beach with an abundance of sea life. We saw a number of turtles, stingrays and all sorts of fish. They also entertained us with a homemade dinner at their home. It was unfortunate that we were greeted with power outage on the first two nights, making us feel miserable. But the property owners brought a solar light to mitigate the problem. There is a safety item that the owners need to address: There is a verandah with unsafe and unsecured handrail on the downhill side. There were some problems with mosquitoes, and Mida provided some mosquito sprays and mosquito bomb. The owners/managers also upgrade rented property from a studio to a full oneroomed condo to make our stay enjoyable.

Paradise ~💙~

St. Thomas has always been my second home growing up. Finally, after too many years had an opportunity to revisit again. Found this hidden GEM. The place was brilliant, great value for money and a prime location. The studio was clean, welcoming, and the host was beyond accommodating. All in ALL the studio was a magical time and would recommend it to anyone. Truly second to none...ALL AROUND. Thank you, Mida ! Looking forward to coming back SOON !! #grateful

Super nice host and communication but this studio looks more like a Winnebago than a hotel room. Okay for a simple couple not looking for luxury in any way but don’t expect high quality of the surrounding, the road to lead to the house and the building containing this studio. Honestly too expensive for the size of the studio and.the quality of the building and area.

Mida and Kumar were very helpful and responsive to any questions and recommendations regarding restaurants and activities. The view was beautiful. We enjoyed having breakfast out on the patio every morning. The location was very convenient to get to any part of the island. I would stay there again.

The host was extraordinary! She even drove us to dinner the first night and arranged our transport to the airport. This is a nice place to stay, exactly as described, just make sure you have a rental car. It is very clean and the view very beautiful!

Stunning View and Great Communication

This place is great for a single traveler that loves to explore. Though small, it had all of the charm of the neighborhood. It may seem, at first, rough around the edges to a US mainlander, but it’s charm is overwhelming. It’s a switchback away from the stunning World Famous Mountain Top. It’s about a 5 minute drive to Charlotte Amalie. The property owner is incredibly friendly and helpful. Make sure to say hi to the cows at the end of the street on your way into town!

Bluewater cottage is ideal for couples or two best friends traveling to the islands. Is overlooking the Charlotte Amalie Harbor. You can watch the cruise ship sail in and out in the evening. From your deck you can see the airport, down town and the east part of St Thomas. On clear days you can see the big island of St Croix, Puerto Rico, Culebra and Vieques.
