It was so ironic that a guest who praised me for allowing her to check in early at 12:00 noon instead of 3:00pm and being welcomed with a bottle of wine and snacks could turned around and wrote such lies about me. I have been a host on several platforms for over 3 years and I’m sad to say this my first encounter with a guest who is so rude and disrespectful. She complained about everything. At 6pm on May 22, she texted me that she couldn’t adjust the hot tub water level, instantly I drove 40 minutes from my house to go and have it fixed for her. When I got there, I found that she had mishandled hot tub and sparkling water all over the place causing the system and a portable air conditioning in pool room to stopped working. Without complaining, I had the hot tub fixed for her use. She also told me that the house was cold so she tempered with the AC system causing it to be making strange noise which I fixed for her. The next day which was May 23, the guest again complained that the refrigerator wasn’t cooling well, again, I brought her a new refrigerator within 1 hour and placed it in the garage for her use. However, she insisted I place it in the kitchen because she can’t be going to the garage to use the refrigerator. I apologized to her for the inconvenience and told her that a technician would be coming the following day to have the one in kitchen fixed. She was upset and said so many harsh words to me but I kept my cool and continued to apologize for the inconvenience and even promised to reimburse her if she so wish. She calmed down and try to explain that she quickly gets angry because her back pain and that she was involved in an accident few years ago, which I sympathized with her. Everything was working well for Ms. Annette until I texted her on May 25, to inform her that a technician would be coming to fix the refrigerator in the kitchen as I have informed her earlier and wanted to know if she was okay with that. First, she told she was not home and that her son was in. Surprisingly, after I got to the house with the technician, she ordered us to leave and stopped fixing the refrigerator in the kitchen until she checks out, and I obliged. Not long, she texted me again the AC is not cooling well and that she was demanding a full refund. This was 3 days after her stay. She tried to fix the AC in the mechanical room and asked her not to and she became upset. I had the AC fixed and running within an hour. This’s my story!!
