Summary:
Las Palmas Resort is located on Sandy Beach in Puerto Penasco, (Rocky Point), Mexico. The resort includes our condo for vacation rental. The private resort is a gated-community with full-time security, 3 pools, jacuzzi's, 2 waterslides, clubhouse, restaurant, swim-up bar and a spectacular oceanfront view of the Sea of Cortez. Unit is very clean with modern amenities.

Tom was a great communicator. The place was great; as listed. I appreciated the little extras like a well stocked kitchen, having beach chairs and towels, and shampoo.

Wonderful stay! Condo was well equipped. All appliances were functioning properly. The place had many extras such as beach chairs, wagon/cart, beach towels, and many other items that are not included at other condos. We were very close to the pools and beach. The condo carries both a keurig and a regular coffee pot. Even though we brought our own items Kcups, a few water bottles, seasonings, sugar, and other items were provided/available. We had tons of fun!

Excellent Unit!

We just finished a 4-night stay in this unit of Tom’s and it was absolutely fantastic. It has everything you need to be your home-away-from-home from lots of beach towels, regular towels, beach chairs, and a beach wagon. The beds were experiment comfortable as was the linens on the bed. I am very picky about this, and I was very happy and comfortable with the sheets, blankets, and bedspreads. The location is great. We loved the two large beds in each room. It was perfect for our family of 4. We usually stay in a villa but opted for a condo this time, and being on the ground floor was great. We were close to the beaches and pools. We enjoyed the large comfortable sectional on the back porch every morning and night. When we visit Rocky Point again, we will be renting this unit!

Condo was great!

This was our first time staying at Las Palmas and Tom’s rental was perfect for our family of 4. We could have fit another 6 people so there was more than enough room. The location was exactly as described and Tom had more than what we anticipated at the condo. We would stay here again.

Great Stay

This was a perfect rental for me, my fiancé and our 3 kids. Ground level made it so convenient for the kids to come and go. It was a bit tricky to figure out the air since there was 3 different thermostats but once we turned them all down it was fine. The most shocking thing was how comfy the Murphy bed mattress was, my daughter wanted to bring it home haha.

We really had a good time. No issues with anything. We had so much fun. Will love to return.

The condo was equipped with all we needed. Towels, kitchen utensils, grill etc. There were enough beds for 6 people. The only thing that confused us was the switch for the fans and lights. But I will definitely go back!!

So great!

Great price, great hospitality. There was not an ocean view as expected, but the room was at a great location in the resort. The gym is absolute crap and un useable. But the condo was great. Had everything we needed. We had a great time!

Great for all family

Great spot ,close to the ocean, great view, walking distance to the ocean. The pools are also very nice especially for the kids to enjoy. House has plenty space for all family members to sleep comfortably. Very cold AC . The owner Tom, was very prompt in responding every time we needed something, quick and professional. Great customer service. We enjoyed our time it was our first time and we hope to come again.

Great time at Baja 101.

Location is awesome, bottom floor right next to a pool and a ramada. Short walk to the beach, bigger kid and adult pools. The room itself is very spacious, good-sized kitchen with all the necessary appliances, and plenty of beds. Check-in process was easy, Tom was very responsive, and we had a great time.

Unless you are owners Property’s of rocky point are not allowed to have service animals, this was by far the worst experience I’ve had. I will never be returning to rocky point for “vacation” again. Las palmas was not event decent enough to offer a doggy hotel like the other hotel did. They just said no we cannot check you in and you cannot have your money back, even after talking to the owner. Jackie was the lady at the hotel who ultimately decided no on service animals even with the owner on the phone. After Jackie the said no the owner gave up said your loss and stole our money. We now have to find a place to stay at 8:00pm at night and after booking again now had no spending money so yay for our vacation and counting pennies for the rest of the trip because we are not all rich and sometimes these are the few days we get to get away and have planned for and budgeted for the hotel and spending and having someone’s hard worked plans go down the drain is depressing. Find a better beach to vacation to.
