This home is a quaint cabin with a lake view in Solar-Wilson Village, a 40 acre ranch in Ledbetter - the heart of Texas. The ranch is located in an idyllic, picturesque and secluded setting reminiscent of African Safari grounds. The Village is an ideal location for a quiet vacation, private retreats or romantic 'get-aways' for two or three guests. Perfect for writers and artists. Guests have access to a three acre spring-fed lake which is suitable for fishing. The cabin is located 8 miles from Round Top - home of the famous Antique fairs and music festivals.

Ijero Cabin is a three minute walk from the main ranch house and is a private cabin with its own entrance and parking area. There are two beds (one queen and one single), bath & shower, a kitchen with stove, microwave, and refrigerator. There is a cozy living room area with outdoor seating on the front porch.The cabin has a smart TV in the living room area which can be connected to a wifi or a smart phone hot spot to watch YouTube, Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime videos etc.

The ranch is located halfway between Houston and Austin and 5 miles away from Round Top. Round Top is well known for its antique shops, music festivals, art galleries and antique shows. Festival Hill in Round Top is a 200 acre campus with historic houses and beautiful gardens that offers musical and poetry performances through the year. The ranch is 8 miles away from Giddings and 25 miles from downtown Brenham. Both towns have a full range of stores, restaurants and fast food joints.

Very nice, well-equipped cabin. Host’s communication was flawless with very clear driving instructions to this out of the way refuge. It’s still easy to get to local attractions, but the slow pace of the location, trees and pond, etc. make it worth a visit!! We loved the evening sitting on the front porch with a glass of wine.

Round Too

Excellent stay for us. Quiet and secluded in the evenings but convenient to all things we wanted to do. The cabin was exactly as advertised and well managed. Would definitely stay again. Host was great.

Wonderful stay

Easy check in process and well equipped cabin! Beautiful surroundings. The WiFi barely worked while we stayed (which also meant no TV streaming); may need upgrading. Aside from this, we had an excellent time.

Great little house! The hosts were awesome and very responsive!

The ONLY issue with the property was we had difficulty finding it, but most likely because it was after dark when we arrived. The hosts did give us directions and pictures but still a little hard to find in the dark! Otherwise awesome!

Round Top day trip

My girls friends and I wanted to visit Round Top and shop. when we booked the property the managers suggested wonderful places for us to try however everything was closed, this was a tuesday!?!? When we drove in at 11am and nothing was open except Junk Gypsy, we asked if we could check in early bc there’s nothing for us now. We were told we cudnt go in until 4pm and by that time it had rained and the roads to the “village” where the cabin was, were partially flooded (thank god I have an suv). No one was on the property the one night we stayed. All the all I would recommend this property but do ur research and look at maps, business hours and property photos before u get here.

Thank you for booking a stay with us. We make several recommendations for places to visit around the ranch. We hope that our clients confirm business hours with places they are interested in visiting as they plan their trip. This is a 40 acre ranch and the ranch home is very private. We try not to disturb our guests and respect their privacy. The guest manual in the cabin has the host contact numbers should you have wanted to speak with us. It is unclear to me how you confirmed that there was no one in the ranch home. You would have no way of knowing if we were there unless you walked up to our front door. Also, our checkin time as indicated on the listing is 4pm. We did have unusually heavy rains on the day you checked in. Once again, thank you for booking a stay with us.

Perfect get way!!

This was the perfect place to spend a get away!! The cabin was very quaint and the property was very quiet!! We sat on the front porch, fished the catch and release lake, and enjoyed site seeing in Round Top!! Would highly recommend and can’t wait to stay there again!!

A perfect place to stay. The bed was comfortable, everything was spotless, the shower had great water pressure, A/C was awesome and easy to adjust. When we visit our family again, we will stay here every time. Thank you!

Quiet and Peaceful Getaway

We had the whole property to ourselves and felt far away from the noise of life. The cabin was comfortable and cozy. Husband did some catch and release in the pond. I read on the front porch. So easy to relax here. Ate lunch in Round Top and drove lots of backroads for sightseeing. We loved it!

The area was amazingly tranquil and it was so nice to sit on the front porch after a long day. The cabin was brand new and tastefully decorated. The kitchenette was well equipped with a hot plate, microwave, toaster oven, dishes, glasses, and pots and pans. There was also a small continental breakfast available at the recreation center. Could not have been happier to stay here and would highly recommend!
