Aloha from Midway Vacations! Our team of local hospitality experts is dedicated to turning your Hawaiian getaway into a reality. When you stay at one of our properties, you can count on a professionally cleaned and meticulously maintained experience. We’re even available 24/7 should you need us.



Welcome to your new home away from home! This east-facing Studio offers breathtaking views of the ocean, Diamond Head, and the Waikiki skyline from your lanai (balcony) and the cozy living room. It's just a short stroll from the golden sands and the azure waters of the world's most famous beaches.



To ensure your comfort, this unit boasts an open floor plan with air conditioning. It's furnished with a queen-sized bed, an adjustable height table for dining or work, and a flat-screen TV. The well-equipped kitchenette includes a 2-burner stovetop, a microwave, a full-size refrigerator with a freezer, a coffee maker, dishes, pots & pans, silverware, and cooking utensils. Stay connected with wireless high-speed INTERNET and cable TV.



All your linens and towels, including beach towels, are thoughtfully provided. Laundry facilities are conveniently located on the 6th floor and can be operated with coins or credit cards.



The expansive recreation deck on the 6th floor of the Island Colony is a true gem. Enjoy a large pool, hot tub, sauna, gas BBQ and picnic tables, a fitness room for a one-time fee of $10 (price is subject to change without prior notice), showers, an ice machine, a convenience store, a café, and a coin or credit card-operated laundromat. Your comfort is our priority!



Parking is available in the building for just $45 per day (price is subject to change), and you'll appreciate the open-air lobby, ATM, trash chutes on every floor, and round-the-clock security. If you want to explore the island, you'll find car, scooter, and bicycle rentals right on the ground floor of the building.

CAR/BIKE RENTAL INFO:

- There is an hourly Car Rental via Drive Hui - 2 stalls located within the Island Colony parking structure.

- There is a Bicycle Rental via Biki - Rental station across the street from the Hotel, on Seaside and Ala Wai Avenue.

- There is also a car rental company located on the 1st floor.



THE COMPLEX: 

- Coffee shop on the ground floor 

- Trash chutes are located on each floor 

- Coin or credit card-operated laundry room on the 6th floor 



HOW TO GET HERE:

From Honolulu Airport, it is just a 20-minute drive from your destination. Rent a car to explore or grab a taxi for around $45, depending on traffic. Look for signs on the way to the taxi area upon arrival. Enjoy your trip!

Check-in: any time after 3:00 PM

Check out: any time before or at 10:00 AM



Regarding early check-ins or late checkouts, we’re unable to confirm those requests at the moment. If you’d like to ensure you can either check in early or check out late, we’d suggest booking an extra night. In such cases, please reach out to Midway Vacations, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.



STARTER SUPPLIES:

We provide a welcome starter supply kit stocked with - one pack of coffee grounds, coffee filters, toilet paper, paper towel, tissue, can liners, salt & pepper, spray oil, laundry detergent, dish soap, sponge, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, and bar soap. Please note that this is only a starter supply to make sure you have everything you need upon arrival.



HOUSEKEEPING:

Our professional housekeeping team has strict procedures and checklists to guarantee constant quality across all our properties. All linens and towels are professionally cleaned with scent-free detergent and high-temperature washing (180F). Our trained inspectors also check everything before each arrival.

 

The cleaning fee includes all of the services listed above and restocking for amenities after each departure. There will be an extra charge if excessive cleaning is necessary. Thank you for your understanding. 



LINENS & TOWELS:

You will receive one set of towels (bath towel, hand towel, washcloth, beach towel) per guest. Beds are equipped with a fitted sheet, two flat sheets, and a blanket. Linens for the sleeper sofa are on the sofa mattress, and pillows and blankets are in the closet.



LAUNDRY ROOMS:

There is a laundry room on the 6th floor with coin and credit-card-operated washers and dryers. A single pack of laundry detergent is provided in your starter supply kit.



TRASH ROOM:

Trash rooms are located at the end of each floor.



3O NIGHTS OR MORE STAY:

Experience even greater savings! Reach out to us when planning a stay of 30 nights or more and enjoy a 10% discount on your total room fee.



We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that reimburses for prepaid, non-refundable expenses that may arise due to unforeseen circumstances that could jeopardize your vacation investment and would otherwise incur unplanned expenses as well. The Island Colony is located in the heart of Waikiki, just a few walking minutes away from the warm sands and blue water of our world most famous beaches.



Also within walking distance you can enjoy a wide selection of international restaurants, the Honolulu Zoo, the Waikiki Aquarium, world-famous shopping centers, luaus, dinner cruises, etc.



Getting Around:

There is a very good bus system on the island, all buses are stopping in Waikiki. This building has a public parking garage ($35 per 24 hours), payable directly at the parking garage. Rates are subject to change.



Please note: current daily rate of $35 is valid for 24 hours. If the vehicle stays longer than 24 hours without paying for additional time, $50 fine will apply.

Great stay

Great location, and convenient amenities at the building, including cafe, convenience store, and pool. A big lanai with an amazing view. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.
