Amazing view

Our family of four had a lovely time at this rental. Place was clean, beds were comfortable, and location was convenient - a nice walk along the river trail into town and the train station. And a gorgeous walk in the other direction. A truly beautiful valley!

We enjoyed our stay at Staubach by Interhome. The accommodations were comfortable and nicely furnished. We had plenty of room for the family and we loved having 2 bathrooms and use of a kitchen. The communication and check-in process was a little difficult and confusing, between the huge time difference and language barrier. After we got passed that, everything was great. The scenery and the views from the home were picture perfect. It's a little bit of a walk from the train station but we discovered there is a bus stop almost across the street from the home that takes you right to the station.

Vacation in Lauterbrunnen

We had a great stay here. The place was spacious and clean. We were even able to get a load of laundry done. The only thing I would say is it was hot at night - the place could use some oscillating fans since there is no a/c. But other than that, we enjoyed our stay!

In Zwitserland genieten met een prima appartement voor onze familievakantie. Balkon met uitzicht op het dal en de magnifieke bergen. Appartement was van alle gemakken voorzien. Misschien 1 puntje: Ă©Ă©n van de matrassen was wat aan de harde kant.

Beautiful and convenient location!

The home is beautiful inside! It is steps away from the bus, which is great for starting any excursion. The view could not be better in the entire valley. We had plenty of room for our family, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook and prepare meals. The wifi was spotty at times, so keep that in mind if you are working on vacation, but it suited our needs just fine.

Sehr schöne Wohnung mit traumhaftem Blick

Wir waren fĂŒr 3 Wochen in dieser schönen Ferienwohnung und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Wohnung ist schön gelegen mit einem traumhaften Blick vom Balkon direkt ins Tal und auf den Staubbachfall. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefĂŒhlt und es war alles da, was wir brauchten. SchlĂŒssel- und WohnungsĂŒbergabe haben problemlos funktioniert. Einzige Kritik wĂ€ren die teilweise schon etwas „abgewohnten“ Möbel gewesen, aber diese sollen im September gewechselt werden. Wir wĂŒrden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Rigtig god service og information fra en meget sÞd vÊrt. En rigtig dejlig lejlighed med alt hvad man skal bruge. Velholdt og ren, 2 gode vÊrelser med dobbeltseng, en stor hems med en dobbeltseng pÄ 140 og et dejligt kÞkken/ stue. Fantastisk udsigt til bjergene og vandfald fra en dejlig altan. Floden lÞber i baghaven og kan hÞres, nÄr man sidder udenfor. Men ikke indenfor nÄr vinduer er lukket. Ligger i gÄafstand til centrum af Lauterbrunnen.

Not Happy with stay

The sofa and kitchen chairs were highly stained and not clean. The towels and cloths provided for showering were also stained which is completely unacceptable, Im glad we brought our own. It was difficult to communicate with the key holder because he would not answer calls or emails. I've had great experiences with other companies , but this is my first time with a VRBO property and I can't say I enjoyed it.

Prachtig uitzicht, appartement OK

Uitzicht is fantastisch. Appartement is mooi, luxe en ruim. Maar schoonmaak en aandacht voor details is matig. Vriezer was niet goed dicht en zat vol ijs, afvoer douche liep niet goed door, afzuigkap heel vet, filter van de droger vol stof etc. Allemaal zaken die gemakkelijk te voorkomen zijn met een beetje meer aandacht van het onderhoudsteam. 300 Sfr borg in contanten is niet meer van deze tijd. Kan gemakkelijk via credit card zonder dat er cash geld aan te pas komt. Ondanks die zaken genoten van het prachtige uitzicht vanaf het balkon, Lauterbrunnen en de Jungfrau regio.

Great place with views of the waterfalls. Amazing

The property was clean and filled with everything you need. Views of the main waterfalls right off the balcony and from the living room and master bedroom. The house has a nice loft space which was ideal for my teenage son. A short 10 minute walk to the main train station and to the village.

Excellent location

This 2-bedroom apartment with an open loft is spacious with great views from the living room and bedrooms. It is within a 10- 15 min's walk to the station and the little town of Lauterbrunnen. The apartment was well-equipped excepts for a few missing necessities such as paper towel, dish cloths, coffee filters, teaspoons (there were only two). The apartment is also close to biking, hiking trails and some of the the waterfalls. The area is quite and peaceful. We would stay here again.

Perfect accommodations in perfect Swiss town

Our family of 6 (4 adults, 2 children) absolutely loved this apartment. It was spacious and well-equipped with all a traveler would need. An extra bonus was having a dryer as opposed to just a dying rack! Equally convenient to have a dedicated parking space. The apartment occupies the top 2 floors of the chalet. It is spacious and has a balcony which overlooks the valley, the mountain and StaubachfÀlle which is lovely when lit at night. You can also see 2 other falls from the apartment as well. The beds were comfortable; the upstairs loft which was quite large has a sofa which converts into a 2-person bed. Having skylights which could open kept the apartment bright and the temperature comfortable. Our host, Mr. Garcia, was very accommodating in meeting us when we arrived (even after we had to change our time) and returning our deposit prior to our departure. He was also a joy to talk to! We had friends visiting from France during our stay (they stayed in the Jungfrau camping park) and it was lovely hosting them for dinners at the apartment. There was plenty of room for 4 kids and 6 adults! The wifi was so-so, but to be expect with all the mountains. We loved the location as it was very easy to visit Grindelwald, Schilthorn, TrummelbachfÀlle and Jungfraujoch during our stay. No more than a 20-25 min. drive anywhere. Would stay in lovely Lauterbrunnen and this chalet again in a heartbeat!
