We had a wonderful stay! The host was excellent—friendly, responsive, and made everything easy from start to finish. The property itself was fantastic and the perfect place to relax and unwind. One of the best parts was how convenient it was to get to the beach. Being just a short walk away made it easy to enjoy the ocean whenever we wanted. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful beach getaway.

Nice unit with a "homey" feel. Hosts provide everything you need from the well-equipped kitchen supplies to the beach essentials. Its a 4 minute walk to the beach and a coffee shop nearby makes this an ideal location for a beach getaway.

Wonderful vacation spot!

Our time with Marcia and Chris was delightful, restful and beautiful. Our unit was all set for us, clean and with fresh flowers. An easy walk to the beach, we highly recommend this home away from home!

Great stay at CakeByTheOcean!

This may have been the best VRBO stay we’ve had. The home was beautiful and very well supplied. It was very convenient to the beach and the host even provided beach chairs!

Great experience!

Our stay at Cake by the Ocean was just wonderful! Marcia and Chris were great hosts, and we especially enjoyed the personal touches like the fresh flowers and yummy cupcakes waiting for us upon our arrival. We would definitely visit again and highly recommended these accommodations just a short walk from the beach.

Great place to stay. Hosts were very easy to communicate with and very friendly. The house had everything you might need and then some! We were able to walk to restaurants that were close by and we used to bikes to explore the island. We will definitely be back!!!

Perfect place for a short family trip

We had a great time staying at Cake by the Ocean. The small conveniences that were there for us to use, made a big impact on our trip. Our girls were thrilled to have small little gifts waiting for them on their beds, and the cupcakes and flowers awaiting us, really made us feel special. The location was perfect. Just a short walk to the beach and several restaurants as well.

Perfect weekend getaway

We loved the location! Very close to the beach and everything else too. Chris and Marcia were so welcoming with little details that went above and beyond. There are beach chairs and cart available so you don’t have to bring your own. 10/10. Will be back soon!

Fabulous place and host!

Perfect gals beach weekend. We were welcomed by some beautiful flowers and great cupcakes. The apartment is very nice, has all amenities needed and more. Host provided great instructions and very helpful with recommendations for places to go. Will definitely return.

From the start, you can tell that this home is loved & guest appreciated. It was clean & well stocked - providing all the comforts of home ! The location was perfect for our family as we love to ride our bikes & explore in the evenings. The beach & pier were easy to get to as well. The pier has a fantastic restaurant, small store drinks/snacks & a bathroom for long beach days thanks

Feels like home but at the Beach

Cake by the Ocean lives up to the name! Unit was spotless at check in. Our hosts had seemingly thought of everything. Location is perfect - a very short walk to the dunes. A quiet, cozy place to relax after a day of fun at a the beach. Whole family had an excellent experience!
