Welcome to our Underground Earth Home by Living The Dream Cabins! Located in the Hocking Hills region, this unique home is built into the side of a hill on a private 25-acre lot. This space has been newly renovated and is designed for gathering family and friends, featuring an oversized sectional, conversation pit, spacious outdoor seating, and more. Just 10 minutes to Rock House or Cantwell Cliffs, and 15 minutes to Downtown Logan or Old Man's Cave. The options for entertainment are endless!

BONUS! We also have fast WiFi and an all-in-one washer/dryer on-site. EV charger is being installed soon!

I would give 6 stars if I could! The house was clean, we have everything we needed, and we felt at home. They even left blankets and treats for our dog! The hot tub was clean and easy to use. The washer/dryer combo was nice to have. There were plenty of cleaning supplies to use if needed. There are multiple parks within Hocking Hills that are not far.

This was a very nice cabin. We had several family members meeting here from out of town so it was perfect for our needs. Great central location to everywhere we were going to in the area. House was clean, beds were comfy, and had everything we needed.

One of our favorite spots!

This property is the best, so unique and has everything you need. The yard is big, house is lovely and so close to some of our favorite hiking spots. This was our second stay and we'll likely be back!

I stayed here for a short visit with family. Everything about this rental was wonderful. It was unique, comfortable and clean. The provided an online guide that clearly communicated everything we needed to know about the property. What I loved most was that there was plenty of everything for larger groups - silverware, plates, cups, living room seating, table seating and outdoor seating. This is nothing the hosts can control and is more like advice to future visitors to Hocking Hills: Cellular data can be spotty in this area, so make sure you download offline maps or know where you're going before heading out.

Overall the house was nice with good amenities. The close proximity to the parks was nice and we did some good hiking. However, the floors were filthy. Proven by light colored socks worn.

The Earth home was incredible!

We stayed for a hiking weekend with family and it couldn’t have been better. Communication with Ian was great and quick. The home was clean, modern, and charming. We stayed with 4 kids and 4 adults and there was plenty of room! It was a very relaxing weekend at the Earth home!

Incredible Fall 2024

We really enjoyed the property with the large yard and the very unique house set in the earth. We appreciated the cleanliness and that everything worked i.e. hot tube, showers and appliances. The fire pit was enjoyed by the entire family too!

Awesome getaway

Welcome to Living The Dream Cabins! Our story is all about family and our love for Hocking Hills. We are literally LIVING THE DREAM in that we get to share this beautiful part of Ohio with the rest of the country! WE LOVE IT HERE!!

The Koblitz family has been visiting Hocking Hills for the last 40+ years, and in 2015 decided to build our own legacy. 

Ian, with 20 years of real estate experience, found his true calling in short-term rentals. He is the visionary and mastermind behind our properties – each designed to offer a one-of-a-kind stay. Alongside his wife, Megan, they have turned their love for real estate into something truly special – dedicating themselves to creating unique and memorable experiences for each of their guests.

In the last decade, we have grown our portfolio to include our OG Family Cabin, Treehouse, Underground Earth Home, Grain Silo, Airstream Glamper, and our newest Retro Cabin. 

However, we are NOT a big cabin company! Every property has been carefully designed, constructed, remodeled, and maintained by us. Our team is truly a family affair!

We take immense pride in providing a 5-star experience for all of our guests, paying attention to every detail and the thoughtful touches that make your stay unforgettable.
