Cette confortable maison de plage rĂ©cemment rĂ©novĂ©e est situĂ©e dans un quartier rĂ©sidentiel calme et isolĂ©. SituĂ© exactement entre deux superbes villes balnĂ©aires, Cannon Beach et Manzanita. Les deux villes sont facilement accessibles Ă  seulement quelques minutes et offrent des restaurants, des Ă©piceries, des librairies et autres magasins intĂ©ressants. Falcon Cove est nichĂ© dans le parc d'État d'Oswald West, Ă  moins de 3 km de la plage de Short Sands. Le parc propose des parcours de surf, de randonnĂ©e et de plage de classe mondiale, nichĂ©s dans une incroyable forĂȘt ancienne. Falcon Cove a Ă©galement son propre spot de surf unique et dispose de sentiers de randonnĂ©e accessibles depuis la maison.

Falcon Cove est une région magnifique, assez isolée et peu peuplée, avec des plages rocheuses à marée haute et des plages de sable fin à marée basse. Ayant récemment été classée réserve marine nationale, Falcon Cove offre une vie marine abondante et des bassins de marée. Il y a une vue sur l'océan depuis le salon, la cuisine et le pont arriÚre et la plage est à seulement un pùté de maisons de la maison. Préparez-vous à la détente, lisez un livre, passez du temps sur la plage, recréez-vous, cherchez des champignons, surfez, allez crabe sur la riviÚre Nehalem et explorez la magnifique cÎte du nord de l'Oregon.

Nous avons récemment ajouté une expérience spa rustique avec un sauna extérieur et une piscine froide pour le rinçage. Cela ajoutera vraiment à votre aventure et à votre détente :)

Falcone Cove Summer Visit

The home was clean and well-maintained. The kitchen had everything needed for a family stay. The location of the property was excellent, just a short walk down to the beach. The washer/dryer were fairly new and in great shape. As for my concerns, there was only one very small bathroom with a shower. There is a shower in the side building, but it was not suitable for use. The beds were okay, not super comfortable and I think they were regular (not queen size) beds. The WiFi was not acceptable at all. I think it was normal (not high speed) speed wifi and it frequently disconnected and took time to re-connect. The one TV also was disappointing. It was a small (maybe 32 inch) in-expensive unit. Finally, we were disappointed there was only a 50 gallon water heater to service the dishwater, kitcen and bath sinks and shower. This made it difficult for three people to take showers.

Relaxed beach vacation

My family had a great time. The beach is so close and not very busy. My kids really enjoyed playing in the sand, looking for sand dollars, and seeing the tide pools. The fenced in yard was a big plus. I liked the quiet neighborhood compared to the bigger beach towns.

A beautiful area but description is inaccurate

The location is truly wild and yet the house is in a neighborhood setting. The house itself was clean and had everything you might need for a visit. However, the description states two full baths - only one and two other showers in the sauna and the laundry shed. You can hear the ocean from the house but the views are only partial. And lastly there wasn't a cold dip pool. We think perhaps the listing needs to reflect what is currently available. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and were able to take lots of walks on the beach and visit Short Sands Beach, Oswald Park, and several other places in Cannon Beach.

Family and beach time perfection

Our stay in the house was exactly what our family needed. Restful and comfortable in a quiet neighborhood. An almost private beach with beautiful coastal bluffs and tide pools. The walk to the beach itself is beautiful with a foot bath through greenery and sweeping views through wind blown trees. Although the neighborhood is perfectly tucked away from all busy-ness and noise, Cannon Beach and Manzanita are just minutes away with easy shopping and many good restaurants. Our family felt like we had hit the jackpot with this rare solitude on a usually busy Oregon coast. The kitchen is well stocked and we made several yummy dinners at home.

Magical!

This was the perfect location for a trip with my kids! We were so close to the beach, to beautiful hikes, and to destinations like Cannon Beach! Our stay was delightful—the cottage was clean and comfortable and fit our needs perfectly. We hope to visit again sometime!

Amazing beach access

This place was great! The kitchen had everything you need plus more. The beach access was amazing. A short walk to a beach with no public parking which equals having it almost to yourself! Plus kids beach toys were a bonus.

Clean home close to the beach

We had a wonderful vacation. The home was close to the beach. It was well stocked. It was very clean. Perfect size for our family. Such a quiet and cute neighborhood.

Cute and warm.

We had cold weather so the fire place and sauna were nice for the kids and dad. Surfing was good at short sands. Best part was being able to do laundry and and walking to the beach.

perfect retreat

We absolutely loved our stay at this little cottage in Falcon Cove! We stayed here several years ago and the owner has made some quality upgrades since, which made the cottage very comfortable. It's a short walk down to the beach, and our son had a blast playing in the sand and chasing the waves. With the windows open in the cottage, you can hear the waves crashing onto the shore below. Given that we're in a pandemic, we really appreciated the extra covid precautions, especially having a one-day buffer between guests.

Great escape!

We had a great 10 days. The beach is close by. It is a nice, secluded, quiet, neighborhood. The house is well equipped with everything we needed. Wish we could have been able to open more windows, though, to hear the ocean.

Amazing Oasis!

Wow! What a magical place! I grew up coming to Falcon's Cove and it was such a blessing to find this gem of a house so close to such a magical beach. House was VERY clean and had amazing energy. The sauna was stellar! Thank you! I look forward to returning!

A peaceful place off the beaten path

We really needed a break and this home is so peaceful and the beach uncrowded even on Labor Day. It has lots of different spaces for a group to relax, and the yard was perfect for our two hammocks (no trees, bring stands). The upper deck has great views and is wonderful to sit and read. The beach is a quick walk. We were there in the storm so power went out that night, my only thought would be to have lanterns or flashlights available since we had to use our phones to see inside the house. Not sure how often that happens though since the storm was an anomaly for that time of year. As others have said, no microwave however the stove worked just great for us and we enjoyed the charcoal grill. Just the respite we all needed. And very comfortable beds and couches, although we spent most of our time on the beach!

Great location!

Nice to have a fireplace. Kitchen and bathroom were good. Needs a microwave! And privacy curtain for kitchen would be nice. Bedrooms were old and outdated. Sauna was great but polar tub seemed to have a leak? Fine place to stay but honestly not worth the money compared to others we have stayed at around there.

Peaceful

As mentioned many times before the location is perfection. Quiet and beautiful, just steps from the beach, less than a handful of people each time we went. Very convient to Oswald park and Cannon Beach. The house was very clean and comfortable and was perfect for our needs ( 3 adults and 1 child). My only suggestions as noted by others are relatively small things that make the visitor feel more at home such as better stocking (nespresso, shower body wash), less arduous check out procedures (starting laundry). The water heater is quite small which likely can not be helped.

Magical location!

The house is in such a great location. Cannon Beach/Seaside is 20 minutes to the north and beautiful Manzatina is 20 minutes south. Surrounded by tress on two sides, the ocean/beach just a small walk away. Quiet and pleasent neighborhood with wonderful neighbors! House was good for the 3 of us. The property is great! Fully stocked kitchen. No microwave. Plenty of games to use with friends/family! And if you come in the colder months, plenty of wood for the beautiful wood burning stove. We used the sauna/cold tub and that was awesome. Experienced folks only! You won't be disappointed here. One issue: there is only one key for the whole house and that was very inconvenient for us. Other than that: magical like I said!
