This spacious 1700 sq ft upstairs unit of a charming oceanfront duplex offers an idyllic setting perfect for unwinding and soaking in serene sea views. As you enter, you`re greeted by a grand open-plan area that encompasses the living room, dining room, kitchen, and family room. This expansive space is designed with large windows that stretch across the front, providing sweeping vistas of the ocean and allowing natural light to flood the interiors.

The accommodation features three well-appointed bedrooms. The first, a generous master bedroom, boasts its own en-suite full bathroom, offering privacy and comfort. The second bedroom is fitted with a queen-size bed, ideal for couples or individuals seeking a restful sleep, while the third bedroom includes two twin beds, perfect for siblings or friends.

Additional sleeping options are available as both the living room and family area are equipped with couches that double as comfortable sleeping spots. I do not understand the four star review. Communication? Were the photos inaccurate? Was the description of the property inaccurate? Was it not as clean as you like? Probably none of the above but I do not know because you did not say. Most likely it is because the home and furniture is quite dated. But these things are fully disclosed in the listing and it is very much reflected in our rates, often 50% cheaper then the houses down the road. The location is probably the best on the road and one of the best in all of Orange County California as noted in every review, including yours. I do not think you reviewed your stay accurately based on what was promised in our listing. We do thank you for leaving the home in such great condition. Much appreciated!

Beautiful view and private beach. Great open kitchen/ living/ dining area with plenty of seating. Lots of extra fans and blankets. Good seating on patio. Everything you need in the kitchen. Regular and Keurig coffee makers. Owner responds right away, very helpful and easy to talk to. Access to beach requires minor climb down some rocks, but not too difficult. Small kids and older adults were able to. Public beach just outside of neighborhood. Would definitely stay again!

Great on-the water location

My wife and rented this place to meet up with our daughters 19 & 23 for a long weekend. We wanted easy access to beaches and good surfing spots. The house felt very roomy with three bedrooms and two bathrooms and Hugh living area with kitchen facing the ocean. The owner was great to work with and communicated quickly. We will definitely consider renting again.

Just what we were looking for!

This property suited us perfectly: The front patio fronting on the ocean, and a 1950's beach house that was fundamentally unchanged from when it was built. Nothing fancy, everything pretty basic, but remarkably functional. But, it's not for everyone. There are large rocks that need to be navigated to get to the beach (this grandmother had no trouble with that), the kitchen small. But the living area is quite spacious with basic but comfortable furnishings. And the things that mattered to us were in place: a fully stocked kitchen, boogie boards for adults, and beach toys for the kids, and a deck from which we could watch the kids frolicking in the waves. The owners were communicative throughout, honestly conveying the nature of the property to make certain it suited us. The photos clearly and accurately convey the property. We miss it already!
