Christmas Family Getaway

The cabin was great and everything was perfect. My family and I had a wonderful time staying there and the host always got back to us right away. Definitely would recommend this cabin to family and friends.

Bach Party at Valhalla

Awesome place to stay for a bachelor party / large group. Place was super clean, and host were awesome and super responsive. Highly recommend.

Viking cabin

We had an awesome time at this property. Lisa and Lance were a pleasure to work with. Everything was just as advertised and we had a great time. Would highly recommend for any large group looking for a fun getaway.

Beautiful cabin

My son’s friends had a nice time in this beautiful cabin. Very impressive when you walk in. Going down to first level, the space was really nice and great for a party. We took a short walk down to the river and had a great time overall!

Multi generational: Grandparents, parents and grandchildren

My family LOVED this beautiful cabin and the time we spent there! What an amazing way to regroup with the entire family- all 22 of us! The grandkids are already asking when we can go back! The property was amazing inside and out!

Bachelor Party Escape

Valhalla River Haven is the place to schedule your next guys weekend or bachelor party. The layout is perfect, plenty of room for 25-plus guys to sleep The hosts were amazing, very communicative and helpful booking excursions and entertainment. The location is great, remote setting but a short drive from a small town that caters to all your basic needs. Would definitely come back!

Lance and Lisa and the Poconos Log Cabin was fantastic! The house set up was exactly what we needed - we had high school reunion for 20 friends for a golf outing and there was plenty of space for everyone. (Blue Ridge Trail golf course is only a 25 min ride away)Lance and Lisa were very communicative and helpful, and even helped set up a pig roast for one of our dinners. Would highly recommend for large groups and will definitely be booking again in the future!

Best place for a large group

We had a blast there. We were almost 30 people ranging from 2 years to 50. All of us enjoyed the cabin. The bar/ play area was the best. The hike down the property was amazing. The state park is just 20 mins drive. Best part is the hassle free communication with Lisa. We would love to go back again.

Great Location for Family Reunion of 28

The house and property are stunning. Owners were communicative and great to work with. They even set up a pig roast and rafting trip for our group! The downstairs game room was a hit with everyone. No neighbors are visible. Very tranquil.

Above & Beyond

This cabin in the Poconos was straight fire! The place was massive and decked out with everything we needed—perfect for a crew looking to kick back and party. The views were sick, and the vibe was just right. Lisa and Lance, the hosts, were absolute legends. We had a hiccup with our white water rafting plans, and they actually got us half our money back. Can’t beat that kind of hospitality. If you’re looking to chill or throw down in the Poconos, definitely hit up this spot. You won’t regret it!

Family Reunion

This property and its amenities exceeded expectations. We rented for a small family reunion and stayed at the cabin for multiple nights. There was plenty of room, the space was comfortable, and boy is it a looker! We had a couple small kids…including an infant…and there were no issues with space or activities. We definitely impressed our family by hosting here. The interior of the cabin is like a modern and smaller version of one of those great, old mountain lodges (think Bear Mountain in NY)….only just for you and your group. The hosts were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and clearly communicated. We felt perfectly looked after.

Perfect bachelor party weekend

Valhalla was the perfect place for our bachelor party weekend. The downstairs game room had everything our group needed. East trip to Mohegan Sun as well. We would definitely stay again.

The Best Time

We had the best time at Valhalla, there were 8 families total and we all have kids under the age of 7. I think total we had 27 people! We all had a great time exploring outside and just hanging out on the property. We played games and the kids loved running around, the bar is an amazing touch just to all hang out. The owners gave us awesome recommendations and were super helpful even with picking a pizza place (that delivered!). The beds were super comfortable as well! We rented sheets through a linen service which made traveling a breeze since there are so many beds! Really have zero complaints and hopefully we will rent again, definitely will be recommending the house to people :)

Great for a group trip!

We had a great friends reunion with our families at the "cabin". The house is huge and the basement was fabulous! We had children ages 1-6 with us and so had to do some baby proofing (spiral staircases) but otherwise it was PERFECT. We did not take advantage of any local attractions other than some short hikes but instead just hung at the house the whole time and it was great :)

Loved every minute of our stay!

This house is unbeatable! Amenities are great and an amazing game room to spend quality time in. Host was great! Always available and able to answer all questions and help with necessary information regarding our stay! Highly recommend this stay! Memories for a lifetime!

Annual friends and family getaway

After a rough start (event with friends 🥺) we ended up with 10 less than expected and all but 5 of us had to leave a day early, nonetheless the location was perfect and house was amazing! Cozy, central and perfect for large groups.

Such an amazing time!!!

Lisa and Lance are such amazing hosts! Aside from having a beautiful cozy home in the Poconos, they were on top of everything! From communicating about how to get to the property, what to do, and helping me and my groomsman for my bachelor party and my fiancé’s bachelorette they helped make it seamless and easy! They helped us book a tee time for a golf coarse nearby and helped us be prepared for our weekend! If you are looking for a great time away, I would certainly recommend to stay here! You won’t be disappointed!
