Welcome to Life's a Beach! Our home is semi oceanfront and less than 5 minute walk to the beach! It has 4 BR's and 2 Baths and TV's in all rooms. Live TV with sling . Netflix and other streaming available. Eat at the kitchen counter or at our family friendly dining room table. There is also a front porch with seating area. Great for family game nights! Board games , cards and more! Enjoy the inground pool and hot tub. New in 2026 we have made an outdoor living space under the house. Perfect when you need some shade or if the weather isn’t so great, you still have a place to go outside and hang out and have fun! There is an outdoor shower as well! Sit outside on the top deck and enjoy the ocean view, sounds and breeze! Barbecue at home or enjoy one of the local restaurants. We have made our home pet friendly so you don't have to leave your 4 legged kids at home! We have plenty of pool toys, pails and shovels for the kids! So pack your bags and head down to Life's a Beach for a great vacation!

We do not supply your linens or towels due to being pet friendly but we have a great company if you choose to rent them. Their website is hatterashelpinghands,com or call them directly 252-995-3390. We have recently updated a few things.

We had a wonderful stay at this beach house — it had everything we needed, including a well-stocked kitchen. The pool and hot tub were fantastic, and the new outdoor seating area was a great addition. The host communicated smoothly and answered all our questions promptly.A couple of things could use attention: the house wasn’t as clean as we’d hoped at check-in, with some dog hair and sand still on the floors. The mattresses were also a letdown — the one in the master bedroom felt old and worn and could use replacing, while the mattresses in the other rooms were quite firm.Overall, a great location with a lot to offer, though the cleaning and mattresses have room for improvement.

House is in a perfect location with a short walk to the beach! The pool and hot tub were nice for when the weather wasn’t good for a beach day. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay! The only negative thing I have to say is their oven was not cleaned from previous people. There were pans in the bottom of it- dirty and it had quite the odor coming from it. We just ended up avoiding the oven but other than that it was great!! One thing to note is don’t walk barefoot outside there are little pricklys!!!

Very clean

Our stay was great. We took out grandkids for a mini vaca, this home was perfect. Plenty of space, games, and pool. Best of all it was very clean. Would stay again.

We had such a great time at Life’s a Beach! Kathy was wonderful, she’s a very responsive and helpful host- She was quick to answer all questions. It was perfect for the WHOLE family! My kiddos loved the games that were available and my fur baby loved being able to come along. We will absolutely be back

Quaint house in a great location!

This house was so quaint and in a perfect location. From what I have read this house is under new owners and I can not wait to see what they do with it! The location and the pool make this the perfect hidden gem! Loved bringing the pup too!

Outer banks family trip

House was perfect for what we needed it for. It was clean and the pool and hot tub were amazing. The only downside was the closeness of the back neighbors and the walk to the beach(last part seems outer banks thing). We would go back!

We felt very much at home! The pool and hot tub were much appreciated. The home was well equipped and clean. The hostess was very informative, easy to reach, and quick to respond. We enjoyed the deck for our morning coffee. The kids enjoyed the built in porch area and utilized it for a playroom. Very satisfied!

Clear check-in instructions. Property is easy to find. Walkable to beach. House is nicely decorated and has tons of kitchen gadgets to make just about anything. 2 min drive to grocery store and restaurants.

Great place for the price

This property was amazing. The only issue was the pool wasn't clean. The water was dirty and we wasn't able to use it. But overall it was a good place to stay. I would book again.

Hi Tammy, , thanks for the nice review. The pool was not open yet. That’s why it wasn’t cleaned. We didn’t just leave a dirty pool. They’re in the process of opening it but it takes a little while. Sorry for the confusion!

Hi! We are Kathy and Steve from NJ. We visited the Outer Banks a few times and fell in love with it. So much so that we decided to purchase our own home down here. We are so happy to have made that dream a reality. We have named it Life's A Beach! because it really is in the Outer Banks!

The beach is beautiful and quiet. You are less than a 5 minute walk to the beach. We offer so much to do whether its swimming in the pool or going in the hot tub to games for the kids and adults, beach toys, horseshoes and even foosball! Plenty of room on the upper deck to take in the view of the ocean and the ocean breeze. You can BBQ on the grill or take it local dining. If you are looking for a quiet fun place to enjoy with your family this is it!
