Three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Original hardwood floors. Guests will love staying in "Thunderbolt" which is a historic fishing village nestled in Savannah. Tybee Island beach is 12 miles away. Savannah's Historic District is less than 5 miles away.

Guests can stroll from this home on Rowland Ave to the Thunderbolt Town Hall to use the community dock and walk or jog along the River Drive sidewalk overlooking the stunning inter-coastal waterway. The cottage is walking distance to Tubby's, Thunderbolt Marine, Tortuga's, Chiriya's and Coach's Corner. It takes 15 minutes to drive to the night life area in downtown Savannah (less than 5 miles away). Whole Foods and Target are just a couple of miles down the street for easy procurement of whatever your group needs on your trip.

The pool is not heated but it is maintained weekly, year round.

This property is charming. It’s historical. The pool is amazing - perfect for children in that is has a shallow area and then steps down into the main pool. We loved it and would stay here again if we come back to the area.

The house was an older home but certainly adequate for us. The location was great for local sightseeing or day trips to Tybee Island and Hilton Head. The pool was fantastic! Our only suggestion is to take a few minutes to assess your kitchen needs and make a supply run if necessary, as it was only modestly stocked. We donated a pizza cutter, bottle opener, snack bag clips, and a couple of noodles for the pool. Overall, however, it was a good experience!

Always Great

This is the second time we have stayed here and my family just loves it. While the street is meh, the location is stellar and we love staying in Thunderbolt and away from the busy downtown. Plus a large yard to run around is helpful with kids. We will definitely stay again.

Summer Vacay

20 minutes from Tybee and 20 minutes from Savanah, it was the best of both worlds. My kids loved coming back from the day’s activities/beach and hitting the pool. As advertised and would stay again or recommend to anyone else.

Wonderful stay!!!

We had no complaints with our stay here. Furniture was comfortable. Location was far enough away from the noise, but close enough to go everywhere. The host was great at responding back to questions in a timely manner. Would love to return back here during the summer, so we can use the pool!

Absolutely loved our stay! One of the best rentals we have ever stayed at! Location couldn’t have been better to be between Tybee and downtown! Home is so cozy and has all accommodations you need. The digital board in the kitchen was great for information and checking out! We will definitely be back!

The house was very clean. We loved the beautiful art throughout he house. It was perfect for our needs. We had a conference in Savannah and this was a quick drive over to the Conference center.

Great location to split the difference between downtown and beach

Only about 15-20 minutes to downtown and beach. We got to enjoy both on our 3 night stay. Cute property in the Thunderbolt (what an awesome name!) neighborhood. Friend and I took a walk and discovered we were walking distance to see the water.
