Island Horizons sits on the flank of Bordeaux Mountain on St. John ~ one of the loveliest islands in the Caribbean. The villa is centrally located 12 minutes from St. John's fabulous North Shore beaches, 12 from the quieter South Shore and also from the secluded East End beaches. From its two verandas almost 700ft/ 200+ m above the sea, the view extends from the waters of Coral Bay across St. John's East End and down the Drake Channel to Virgin Gorda 40 miles away. The islands seem to float between sky and sea in a succession of horizons.
Island Horizons is a bright and beautiful villa that was specially designed to optimize this spectacular vista from the two 62 ft/20 m covered verandas and every room in the house as well as from the secluded pool and its adjacent sundeck. You can lay in bed admiring the view from the two air-conditioned bedrooms at either end of the villa's main floor -- one King and the other with Twin beds that can make up into a King. Both feature sliding glass doors opening onto the veranda and have an attached bathroom with large tile/stone shower. The great room at the center of the main floor features three sets of sliding glass doors opening onto the veranda and the island horizons beyond. It contains a well-equipped gourmet kitchen, living and dining areas, a powder room, and washer/dryer units. The large outside gas grill will delight the chef and dining on the veranda overlooking the sea and island horizons will leave all with an enduring memory. Now featuring new Tesla Powerwall for solar backup during an outage!
A covered stairway leads to the second level with a King bedroom and a Queen/Twin bunk room with a shared bathroom. Each bedroom has AC as well. This level offers the same great bedside view and sliding glass doors that open onto a second 62 ft/ 20 m veranda.
Finally, the third level provides the same spectacular views from the secluded salt pool and sundeck. The covered shaded area of the deck offers shelter from the sun while the sundeck surrounded with colorful tropical gardens is ideal for sunbathers. Island inspired murals enhance the pool deck and there is a new TV and Game Room to keep the whole family entertained.
A vehicle with 4WD and good clearance is required for the road leading to the villa.

Power is provided to St. John via an underground cable from St. Thomas. Our power supply is not always reliable and power outages are not uncommon. They are typically short lived, but can last for a few hours. These outages can happen with or without warning from the islandâs power company, known as WAPA. We will do our best to keep you comfortable and informed. Antares strives to make your villa stay as comfortable and trouble free as possible. Please understand that power outages are out of our control. Please note, water will not work during an outage. There are no refunds for power loss.
