"Little House On The Prairie" is a perfect get away when you're looking to relax with family and friends. Located 100 feet from the fishing and serenity of the 80 acre waters of Prairie Lake. Guest can expect a quiet lake experience and one of the greatest sunsets imaginable. With a large lakeside deck and fire pit the lake life will be yours to enjoy. Prairie Lake is an all sports lake which hosts many species of fish such as Pike, Bluegill and Bass. Comfy & cozy, Life is better at the Lake!

Beautiful place to stay. The cottage is right on the lake. Sunsets are incredible. We were so happy that we were allowed to bring our dogs along. Plenty of board and card games provided. Our host lives conveniently close by and was available for questions.

Relaxing stay

Perfect getaway on the lake!Go kayaking, fishing, or just enjoy the place. This place has everything one may neeed. Matt is just awesome and very welcoming!He spent time with us teaching us some new fishing techniques as well. Such an amazing time and place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Matt's cottage. There was a little dust and a little dog hair when we got there so it was perfect for us. It meant we could be comfortable and relax on vacation without worrying about tracking a little dirt inside. Matt was quick to respond to questions asked.

Well priced for an economical stay

The property is located in a very rural area on a lake. If you’re looking for quiet and solitude at a great price, this is your place. A little outdated, somewhat cluttered, but worth the price you pay.

Fantastic place! Everything was there we needed. Very quiet lake. Matt's communication was easy and timely. Had the most beautiful sunset I have ever seen. 100% I would stay again. My dog had the best time swimming all weekend. Can't say enough about this gem!

Quiet and quaint

Had a great time at this property. It was exactly what we needed. The beds were really comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. There were a few too many cobwebs, but we're the camping type so it didn't bother us much.

Lake Cabin on Prairie Lake

Our cabin was very nice and cozy plus it came with a beautiful setting...lake front! The cabins nearby were nice as well with friendly visitors. My family and I enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

This is our Family's cabin that we are willing to share with you. I am a retired teacher and coach from local school. This is a property that we use as well. Instead of it sitting empty when not in use we are opening it up for the public to enjoy.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

The property is located close to Albion and Olivet Colleges for families coming from out of town. It is a comfy cozy family owned cottage that should be perfect for "a guys weekend of fishing" or for the annual "ladies get away." It would be perfect for a summer vacation for those who love water sports, fishing and relaxing. The cabin is lived in and used frequently, so you can feel comfortable with pets and kids. We don't cry over spilled milk and hope our guest will reciprocate with kindness and understanding if they find a few flaws during your stay. The owner lives only a few miles away and will go above and beyond to make sure you have what is necessary to make your stay enjoyable.
