Take a break and experience the slow, relaxing pace Oak Island offers when you step into paradise and coastal bliss during your stay at A Turtle's Pace.

This Oceanwalk condo is close to everything you need, including groceries, shopping, restaurants and, most importantly, the beach! This renovated condo is just a two to three minute stroll to the soft sand OKI has to offer. Easily access the unit using the community elevator, making it easy to bring up luggage, groceries and more!

Active and retired members of the United States armed forces can receive a discount upon booking!

Wake up and enjoy a cup of coffee and ocean views from the covered porch right off the living area. This condo offers the best of both worlds with easy beach access and a community pool perfect for kids or for you to float around and relax!

This unit features four flat screen TVs with a guest account for streaming services along with basic cable on two of the four TV's.

The full kitchen allows you to whip a delicious dinner and maybe even some local seafood. Experience your meals at the dining room table with seating for four people or at the bar, which features seating for an additional four more!

A Turtle's Pace is perfect or any sized group big or small (up to 8 people) and is sure to provide relaxation, great views and memories of a lifetime!

This vacation rental welcomes up to three dogs per reservation year-round and for off-season monthly rentals. Off-season monthly rentals are welcome beginning in November through the beginning of March each year.

The Ocean Walk pool is open annually from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Specific condo communities may keep the pool open past Labor Day depending on the homeowner's association's recommendation.

A great stay for our family!

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Turtle's Pace. With young kids and older parents, it was a great place. We really enjoyed the short walk to the beach and taking in the ocean view from the balcony. The condo was a restful welcome back after a busy beach day.

A great May vacay

This place was amazing. Property was very clean and outfitted with everything we needed. Our first two days there the air was not working correctly and after contacting the reservation office, someone was out to fix it the next day. We were then credited for two nights stay due to our inconvenience. Other than the pool being slightly cool, our visit was perfect. The three bedrooms worked well for our family as it was my husband and I, his parents and his nephew and his son. It is close to everything and had a very nice balcony that I spent a lot of time on.

Great location, not very clean.

The location of the condo was wonderful. A 5 minute walk to the beach that we made daily. This was the best part of the place. Also close proximity to lots of places to eat. There were several cons, though. All of which dealt with the cleanliness of the home. We were, of course, aware that this was a pet friendly condo as we brought 2 dogs ourselves. With this being said, I think the cleaning crew should have done a better job of cleaning not only the pet hair but all other surfaces. The couches had sand and dog hair all over them, the master bed was covered in dog hair too. The mattress cover had a large stain that was really unappealing to anyone who would want to stay here. The refrigerator doors were very dirty as well as the counter tops in the kitchen. I think oak island accommodations should reevaluate their cleaning crew. The staff on site that we spoke to were so kind and friendly. The staff is very attentive any time you reach out during the booking process. Over all, we were happy with our stay, but we were disappointed in the cleanliness, especially with the price we paid to stay. We left the condo cleaner than we found it.

Great place and location

We struggle to find nice places that allow are two little dogs. This place was perfect. Clean, very spacious, great location. Would definitely recommend !!

Great stay

Great distance to beach and other amenities, very clear! only complaint was the sliding glass doors, they need a new track, every time it’s opened your fear it’s gonna come off the hinges.

As nice as the pictures!

We had a wonderful stay at A Turtles’ Pace. The condo had plenty of space for our family of four. The building is older but the inside of the condo was lovely and very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. The best part was the beautiful beach just a block away!
