Maison vintage dans la région de la baie de San Francisco

Relive the classic days of the San Francisco 70’s in this vintage styled South San Francisco home.

In the Home you’ll find 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, each bedroom is fun and styled; from our bedroom with orange shag carpet to our master bedroom with a leather headboard and mirrored vanity, each room has something fun to offer. The home is equipped with fast WIFI, a Smart TV in the living room with Netflix, Prime video (+ more), and a record player. On the walls we have vintage paintings showcasing some of the finer things. We also have some fun vintage books about the Bay Area and classic National Geographic magazines to flip through in your free time. Our kitchen has all the basics if you’d like to cook or store your food, feature a decently sized dining table for families and friends visiting of all sizes.

In our backyard, you’ll find a wonderfully large palm tree, the true tree of California towering over 3 stories. Out-back you’ll also find a lounge area equipped with 4 chairs and a table to enjoy the fun California sun by are constantly growing garden.

The home is nestled by the San Bruno mountains, are great place for hiking and exploring, SFO airport and the San Francisco Bay Area Bio-tech hub. Just south of Downtown San Francisco by about 15 min driving, our home is conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood compared to the bustling downtown area. With-in walking distance we have a few restaurants, a local children’s playground with a massive basketball court and a laundromat.

We are constantly updating the experience with new styles and trinkets to include more flavor of San Francisco’s past. Thank you for reading, we look forward to hosting you soon!

We stayed here, traveling in from out of town for a Giants game. The location was perfect and easy to get to the Caltrain station. The space was nice for our family, providing 3 bedrooms and a comfortable living room. Even with the narrow driveway, we were able to park our large SUV

Great place in the quiet neighborhood (city actually) of South SF. Place is very tidy and comfortable. Three large bedrooms and a nice family room area. I liked the back garden area. Nice to sit and have a cup of coffee. Beautifully remodeled bathroom and a nice kitchen with everything you need. Love getting to the airport in 10 minutes! BART station was convenient to SF and the East Bay

Check-in was simple, and host answered quickly. However throughout our stay we kept finding issues with the property. The host did end up giving a refund, but I did find his attitude off putting after I mentioned some safety issues with the property. My expectations were never to receive a refund, but to point out cleanliness issues and safety issues. There was what appeared to be mold on the ceiling, open food in the fridge (I appreciate when unopened food, water and drinks are left.), ants on the bed in the furthest room, towels with what appeared to be fecal stains on it, and the previous guest clothes left in the closet(s). I wasn’t planning on leaving a review, but it upset me when he sent someone to the property before check out time without any warning at all (they were getting ready to unlock the door before they realize my group was still there) and his annoyed attitude that we didn’t leave yet even though he had not mentioned that as a condition of the refund he gave.

Jonathan, thank you for taking the time to share this, and for flagging the guardrail and walkway. That's exactly the kind of feedback we want. You're right that the home wasn't at our standard during your stay, which is why we issued a refund as soon as we saw your photos. Since then we've [deep-cleaned the entire home, treated the ceiling, replaced the towels and linens, and addressed the ants], and [the guardrail and walkway repairs are complete / scheduled]. We've also tightened our turnover checklist so left-behind items and opened food don't slip through again. On checkout: once the refund was issued, I assumed the stay was ending early and sent our team over to begin resetting the home for a deep clean for the next guests coming in that day. I didn't communicate that clearly, and I'm sorry my messages came across as abrupt although we assumed because of your communication you had left given the situation. That's on me. We appreciate your honesty and hope future guests see the difference.

Excellent host with great communication. The house was comfortable 3/1 with brand new windows and a small but cozy backyard. The rental also included off street parking. Close to various restaurants and grocery stores. Made it easy to eat for the week I stayed. I would definitely recommend it.

Loved this property!

This house was great, it was close to a school park that was fun for my daughter, also good walking area for my dog, and so close to the city without being right in it. It was perfect for our family.
