Play vinyl records on our vintage record player, or pick a tune on one of our musical instruments. We are listed as one of the top Fly fishing destinations in the Country. We are located close to the Appalachian; Trail and many other hiking trails. We are close to the Carter Fold and the Crooked Road Music Trail. Come explore Bristol & Southwest VA. We love to host guests from all over the world.

Everything about this property was perfect. Karen was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed, the apartment included so many little extras to make us feel comfortable and at home, and the central location allowed us to explore and access all the local stores and restaurants. Ten star Mountain Music Loft!

If you’re looking for a fabulous stay in Bristol, look no further than the Mountain Music loft. Your hosts Karen and Monica have thought of absolutely everything to make your stay unique, memorable and comfortable. This loft is full of surprises. What else do you need

My friend and I gathered from two different areas of the Midwest to see my son who is an athlete at King. What a beautiful place to gather and catch up with him! We were very impressed by the great decor to all the extras found in the loft. Medicine, extra batteries, charging stations, mints
you name it. The beds are comfortable. The location cannot be beat with so much to see, eat and do in the area. We also enjoyed the outdoor seating provided. Thank you for your quick response to my questions. I would recommend this to all my friends.

Wow - this place is so unique and beautiful.

This is one of the most unique and beautiful places I've stayed with a vacation rental. The decor is meticulous, creative - the photos don't capture just how big, spacious and well-decorated it is. The bed is very comfortable, sheets very soft. The loft is a great place to work and settle into a great movie. The kitchen had everything I'd imagine wanting - and the coffee, the water provided,...the popcorn and amenties in the bathroom went above and beyond. I also received helpful directions, recommendations for places to go. I loved the communication from the owners. Other than the noise on the streets at night (its a small downtown street that seems to have motorcycles or loud cars cruise in the evening) - everything about this loft/condo and location is fantastic. I highly recommend.

Marvelous Mountain Music Loft (VRBO Mecca?)

We finally decided to stay in Bristol for a week instead of simply staying overnight on the way elsewhere. Once we saw the Mountain Music Loft photos, it was difficult to consider other properties. Every interaction with Karen (the host) from that point on was perfect, and we were even more excited about our upcoming Bristol Adventure. Before arrival day, she ensured that we knew what to expect, and on arrival day, she provided some tips on nearby restaurants, and Southern Craft BBQ was perfect after the long drive down from the DC area. From the moment we walked into Mountain Music Loft, we were stunned by the attention to detail paid to every little detail of the property. That proved to be truer and truer each time we noticed another little touch or bonus amenity that Karen's team so carefully included to ensure a great experience. We take several 'car trips' per year and love to cook and feel at home to the degree possible. We have a 'VRBO Kit' that comes with us. This includes decent cooking pans, cooking utensils, spices, linens, and other items that are missing from most VRBO properties (or what they have is second/third-hand and not useful or sometimes just scary). Mountain Music Loft seemed like a dream come true since we could easily have left our 'kit' at home and had everything we needed and more. There is so much more that we could say about Mountain Music Loft and Karen, but the 1500 characters are running out. Just go ahead and book it and enjoy Bristol!

5 Star Apartment in Downtown Bristol

This apartment has the wow factor in bucket loads! It was spotlessly clean, attention to detail was on point if your a music lover you must book! It was super stylish and Karen was an excellent host. Ritz Carlton of Lofts!

This loft in my judgment is 5+ stars! There is no need left unattended to, the loft is immaculately clean and exceeded our high expectations! We have had the opportunity to do much traveling throughout the United States and stayed in high-end locations. This is up there with the highest! SO well done with the modern renovations while keeping the age of the building intact. I laid awake at night marveling at the old beams, woodwork, craftsmanship and brick laying of such an old building. It was a comforting experience to fall asleep to. ❀ Upon arriving and after 15 minutes of looking around, I requested a booking for the following year. I did not want to take any chances that someone else could book it. The owners of the loft are so caring and helpful in regards to not only their property, but surrounding locations of eateries and activities to do in the area. They also have other lofts available for rent and I would encourage anyone that is within the Bristol Or surrounding areas to stay here. I was in town for a WPBA pool tournament at Borderline Billiards which I also would recommend, for a really nice time out. I had my son and adult grandchildren to visit and stay overnight. They were blown away by the loft! As well were the other women in the tournament who came over to see why I was raving. For transparency, I had never met, nor knew of the owners before I rented this unit. We live in south Florida. I did however have the pleasure in meeting them both during our stay. Genuinely kind folks!! Felt like old friends.

Stay at Music Mountain Loft

I make frequent trips to Bristol. This visit was significantly highlighted by staying in this downtown loft. The loft is well located, very well furnished but had a bit(or more) of "Bristol" ambience to top it all off. Great hosts. Would love to stay again if the opportunity arises.

Exceeded Our Expectations!

The on-line photos didn't do justice to the loft! It was gorgeous, comfortable and a great vibe. When we arrived, the mood was already set with a wonderful radio station and relaxing lighting. Check-in was super simple, in fact, Karen actually greeted us as we arrived. I messaged her a few times just for recommendations and always received a prompt response. The location was perfect, great restaurants, bakery, shops and a distillery that was just a short walk away. The only downside to the location was that it was right across the street from a pool hall that got a little rowdy at night. We never felt unsafe, just a little noisy :) We definitely hope to visit again!

This is a great place! Very comfortable, cozy, well decorated. The only down side is road noise and homeless people making noise at night (never felt unsafe) but that goes along with being downtown. Fantastic Property

Our first time in Bristol and the property exceeded our expectations! The location is central to everything, it is fully stocked with all you need, it is very clean and the communication w/ the property manager was outstanding. We could not have had a better time and would only consider this property if we were to visit again. As for activities - Creeper trail, Comedy Club, Rooftop bar and Blackbird Bakery were all outstanding!

You are only steps away from the Birthplace of Country Music Museum, Craft Breweries, Blackbird Bakery, Public Library, local restaurants, coffee shops, men & women's clothing stores, show store, music venues, performance theatre's, cigar shop, gift stores, and most importantly your loft is located over an ice cream & fudgery! You are only 10 minutes away from Bristol Motor Speedway & The Pinnacle mega shopping & entertainment plaza. Our area also boast many outdoor activity adventures. We are listed as one of the top Fly fishing destinations in the Country. We are located close to the Appalachian; Trail and many other hiking trails. We are close to the Carter Fold and the Crooked Road Music Trail. Come explore Bristol & Southwest VA. We love to host guests from all over the world!

Our loft is located on the second floor. Only 26 steps up to the Mountain Music Loft.

During warmer weather months, there several live music events, so there is a potential for noise. However, there is a city ordinance that all music must end at 11pm.

This building is over 100 years old and we have beautifully restored it. You will find lots of charm with a modern flair! We have very high cleaning standards, but you may find the naturally occurring brick dust occasionally. In the loft you will find exposed ceiling beams and lots of character throughout.

We have several fitness centers nearby that offer daily rates.

We have a 3 night minimum for race weeks and 2 nights for Rhythm & Roots music festival. We use VRBO Smart Pricing and rates increase during peak times such as Rhythm & Roots Reunion and the 2 NASCAR race events throughout the year.
