This condo is a 2 BR, 1 BA loft on the second floor of a Victorian storefront on F Street in historic downtown Salida, CO. It is furnished with fun, colorful mid-century decor including several local artists' work. Tall windows and a vintage skylight fill the place with natural light. The unit has a remodeled kitchen and bath, as well as a large shared deck with awesome mountain views in all directions. Walk to everything!

It is one of 6 residential units in this building, so it is definitely apartment style living. This is no dedicated parking for this apartment, so please be aware you will need to find street parking or use the public lots nearby.

We really enjoyed the clean and comfortable accomodations in an awesome location! The hosts have great attention to detail in creating a great place to stay. We loved having this as our home base while enjoying a couple of days skiing up at Monarch. Very convenient to enjoy the nearby restaurants and shops. We can't wait to return!

We had a wonderful stay! The home is right in the heart of Salida and can walk anywhere. It was super clean, comfortable and had all of the necessities. Great communication, as well.

Excellent location!

The apartment was perfect for what we needed for a relaxing girls trip to Salida. The location is very convenient and close to shops, restaurants, the river, and the farmers market! Beds were very comfortable and the patio is lovely

This is our second year staying at this lovely apartment. Both times have just been perfect. The location is great and everything was easy peasy. I highly recommend this property!

Great location

Great location near restaurants, shops, and walking trails. It was a little difficult to find, but the host was great about taking my call and helping us find it! The second bedroom has a good sized bed for a couple. The only thing to be aware of is it has building wide heat so can be cold. They provided space heaters which was nice. Overall, a good stay!

Cool loft in a great location. Had some issues with the check-in. Mostly user (me) error, but some confusion was created when the owner and VRBO emailed me different door codes and only one worked. One downside of the loft is it is in a building with other units and can be noisy. Anytime someone leaves or enters a unit, you can hear it.

Nice affordable friendly rental

This house was perfect for a long weekend in Salida with young kids - good floor plan and basic but clean and updated furnishings and finishes. Kitchen is easy for meal prep. Super close to downtown shops, restaurants and the playground. Easy access to trails on S Mountain. Property manager super responsive - no issues while we stayed though - they just checked in a few times to make sure we were okay.

Winter trip to Salida

Space is as advertised. Perfect for a small group or family. The location is on the Main Street through downtown. The grocery is across the street. Communication was easy and never took long to respond. Everything inside was clean. There were all of the necessary appliances and comforts. The back deck is lovely even in the winter. Especially in the morning sunrise. Parking could be tricky if you don’t pay attention to your times and move your vehicle as needed. With that said, we were almost always able to park in front of the apartment. We would absolutely stay again and are looking forward to coming back to Salida soon.

Awesome location

The location is super! Right downtown...easy walk to restaurants, the river, bars. The property is great, though my use was a little different and it could have been better for my use. In addition to vacationing, I was working remotely - no desk, no central air, not particularly bright in the second bedroom. Great shower pressure. Really appreciate the full size washer & dryer. Good kitchen accessories (e.g., coffee maker, pots, pans, glasses, etc.). Couch & linens could use an upgrade. Beds were really comfortable. Would appreciate better window coverings for privacy on the front door (right into the living room) and back door off the kitchen (no privacy from many people walking by from the other units). I think we would stay again, but only if totally for vacay (not if I had to work remotely).

We had a very comfortable stay in the loft. We liked being right in the middle of downtown. It was also great to have a coffee shop right downstairs. We were worried about finding parking, but it wasn't an issue. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had what we needed for our stay. Great value.

Clean and cute in the heart of downtown

The property was great! Very clean and tidy and just as advertised. The king bed is also suuuuper comfy! The only draw backs were a loose window or something on the roof the made some noise on windy nights and I think is the tv/hangout area isn’t the coziest spot to hangout on a night in, a newer more comfortable couch or additional seating in there would be nice, but not at all necessary. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.
