Had a great time this is our second time staying here although the weather did not start off good the first 3 days with a nor eastern churning at out banks and kicking up the pamlico sound. The last part of our stay was perfect good place to back my boat in and charge my batteries and the beach out front is perfect for all of my little ones to play in the water. Thanks again

We had the best weekend stay. We have been going to Cedar Island for over 10 years, usually camping with the same group of friends. We have made so many memories and friends in the area during that time. This year however, our plans got changed due to an unnoticed leak in our camper ceiling and we were not able to stay all summer like we usually do. We were fortunate enough to be able to rent this beautiful place for the Labor Day Holiday weekend so we could spend the end of our summer with everyone. The weather was not the greatest, but it did not even matter, because we were in our favorite place on earth with all of our favorite people. Thank you Allen & Hollie for letting us stay at your beautiful beach house. Many, Many more memories were made that weekend too.

This home is on the beach! Great views from the screened in porch. This home has a perfect floor plan, all rooms on one level.The interior and exterior of the home is clean and well maintained. Definitely will return again soon!

This property is such a gem! We have made so many special memories here over the years. The beach is perfect for young kids and the house is always clean and well stocked. The screened in porch is the star of the show.

Great Property

We had a wonderful week. The beach area was great, we could walk out pretty far to two sandbars. Fishing was ok, some Croakers, pinfish, and Crabs. One amazing catch of the week was a 36 1/2 " Drum. Landed by my grandson. The first 2 days we had a lot of jellyfish, the rest of the week we didn't see any. The ferry to Ocracoke was a fun trip. Saw a large pod of dolphin on the way.

This is a beautiful property with magnificent views. The home provides all the necessary comforts and the screened in back porch is a nice bonus. We loved every minute of our stay!

Perfect stay every time

This was our 4th visit to cedar island, and our 3rd time staying at this property. The space is always clean and beds are comfy. Easiest walk onto the beach and there are never too many people around you.

Peaceful and beautiful

Great place, fantastic house will definitely rent again. Everything u need for a great beach vacation. Wide open beach our dog Maggie really enjoyed herself. And the purple martins were showing up.

Hidden gem

Very thoughtfully designed and perfect! Layout, lighting, convenience, comfort and just downright beautiful. We really enjoyed staying here and plan to come again with more family members. Already loved the area but this home really sets the tone for a wonderful stay no matter what your interest. Even the three Martin houses make it wonderful to sit out on the porch and watch against the backdrop of the sound of the beach. Just beautiful and again very well thought out design of everything!

Perfect Getaway Location!

My husband and I really wanted an easy location for an anniversary getaway but we also wanted to include our dogs. This was 100% the perfect site!! It was so refreshing to walk along the beach, watch the dogs experience the ocean, and leave the screen porch doors open all day listening to the waves and birds while we read books and played card games. The house was clean, cozy and relaxing! It definitely helped me mentally relax and reset. Already looking to go back again next year for a longer stay!

Off season get away

Great house!

This is our third visit to this property. We love the house, wonderful layout. Our favorite is the screened porch. Short walk to the beach area. The ferry is great for an day outing. We highly recommend this beautiful place for your next vacation.
