The perfect vacation getaway. Our home features a beautiful heated pool, with pool bench and table, connecting TIKI Hut for the perfect backyard haven while on vacation.. We offer unlimited FREE ICE, and use of a Large Freezer.
The home sits on stilts and is a Perfect place to relax, enjoy kayaking , bike riding, walking , boating ,site seeing and so much more
 The concrete sea wall and composite deck both have ladders to enter the canal for a swim or to kayak, yet remember it’s open water caution for marine life.
Our Home has a deck you can tie your boat to if you want to bring it, with easy access to the Ocean and Gulf from canal. Our home is well situated on the natural preserve so you can enjoy beautiful walks to the BLUE HOLE and many nature trails, where you will see all kinds of wildlife. Enjoy the Tiki hut and 1st floor patio for shade or the 2nd floor patio overlooking the canal. This Great location is just 30 miles to Key west and 30 minutes from marathon. Great for kayaking and outdoor space.

Of you like to kayak, SUP, fish the shallows and explore mangroves, this is the house for you. House was exactly as described. Great cave pool level for my teens and plenty of room upstairs. The outside area is fantastic and the owner very responsive when contacted with questions etc. Only thing we missed was a dining area big enough for a sit down meal. Overall we loved the space and would come back.

Great Port Pine House with Pool

This is a fantastic house located on a canal in upper Big Pine Key. And justvas important, John is a helpful and responsive host. Recently renovated with a great tiki hut and pool. Kitchen is well stocked and there's a new Weber grill on the deck. The 2 kayaks and bikes available were great. For the DIY fisherman, and particularly the kayak fisherman, the house and location are ideal. It's a simple 5 minute paddle to the bay, and beyond are

Terrific House Terrific Host

Spent a month and throughout that span, and without fail, the house was just what we wanted and our host was responsive and cordial. The location (Port Pine Heights and Big Pine Key) was just what we were looking for: the neighborhood is certainly quiet, relaxed, deluxe, and modern, and the Key is equally relaxed but will access to diversions from diving and snorkeling to bike riding and fishing (less so golf). The pool was a highlight but the home's amenities -- from electronic entertainment to bicycles and kayaks, from rainfall showers to tiki-hut based laying about on an abundance of chairs and loungers-- all made for a very high-end -- almost resort-like -- feel to the accommodations. John (the owner) clearly cares for his property and its upkeep and was a very responsive and resourceful host; unflappable in his ability to address our needs and take control of an unforeseen (but low-grade) emergency by dispatching professional help and getting things back on track with hardly a hiccup. The home handled our group(s) and our small pet perfectly. But the house is only about 'where,' you stay. 'How," you stay -- and how well -- is all about the host and the pride and care they put into the property. On that score, this place gets all five, well deserved, stars...honestly.

Wonderful month long stay on Big Pine Key

We had a wonderful time at this property on Big Pine Key during the months of January and February. Our host, John, was great and quickly responded to any of our needs or requests. The neighborhood was very quite and we enjoyed being visited by the local Key Deer on an almost a daily basis. The heated pool, tiki hut and large outdoor TV made it very enjoyable to hang out after a day of hiking and biking on Big Pine Key. There is also a little community park to go watch the beautiful sunsets of Florida. We also loved taking our dog Bindi to the fenced in dog park on Key Deer Blvd. behind the baseball park. There is a Bealls (TJ Max type store) Winn-Dixie, pizza palor, bagel shop and liquor store not far for your shopping needs. We would definately return to this property.
