Found on a peaceful street surrounded by trees, charmingly rustic and woodsy with soaring ceilings, log walls, typical rustic decor, log-style furnishings, antlers, chandeliers, and quantities of original Swiss accent.
Our Cabin is positioned in the "Eagle MountainEstates " Big Bear Lake close to grocery stores, the lake, and Snow Summit.

Cozy but spacious cabin with great character. Very comfortable rooms with large kitcen, dining area and ample seating. Easy access to stores and restaurants in town. Pet friendly in a walkable neighborhood with a great, fenced backyard.

We have stayed at this lovely home before and we enjoyed it just as much this time. The home is very very clean and beautiful. The host Nadia is amazing. The kitchen is AMAZING ALSO. Sitting on the front having our coffee was so relaxing., so quiet and peaceful.

Nadia was the perfect hostess… We were there over Christmas, and her home was decorated so beautifully, even though we were away from our home we felt the Christmas spirit and the holiday warmth in this beautiful home. Every detail was attended to from the well stocked kitchen to all the rooms. Nadia was also so kind to allow us to check in early, as we were traveling on Christmas Eve day during a storm, and it was just an absolute delight to be able to arrive at the house early, which we very very much appreciated. The dogs loved the yard, it’s fenced and safe and this home was just one of our favorites that we have ever stayed at… Thank you, Nadia.

Forest fantasy fairytale

What a wonderfully relaxing weekend! Great room layout with incredible kitchen, roaring fireplace, lots of lounging couches was just what our family needed. The fenced in yard was perfect for exploring for the dog followed by a luxurious nap in front of the fireplace. House is beautifully appointed with all sorts of Grimms fairytale charm. We will definitely be back

Lovely Home

Easy check-in, great communication with owner, beautiful home and great fenced backyard for our dog! The kitchen was well stocked and had newer LG Appliances. Only draw back were the entry stairs (23 steps), but once in the house it is all single story. We truly enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. Thank you Nadia!

Our Stay @ Eagle Mountain Estates (EME)

Our recent stay in Big Bear at EME was outstanding: 1) Nadia (owner) is friendly and responsive. 2) House has great curb appeal. 3) Great neighborhood 4) Kitchen has it all in abundance; from dishes, to silverware, to utensils, to pots & pans, to all the spices....and it is very large. 5) The house is perfect for kids and dogs. Front and back decks are fenced in, as is entire back yard. 6) The large Weber Barbecue was wonderful. Nadia, what a great stay! Thanks, Bill

incredible, amazing cabin with all the whistle and bells

We had a very delightful time in this home. The decor is just fantastic and eclectic. You feel somewhere in the Swiss Alps with calming views from every window. The appliances are top of the line, tons of cooking supplies, and well equipped, a dream to cook in this super spacious kitchen—especially the open living room with soaring ceilings and a huge TV—Super Clean and well-organized cabin. What we liked the most is the private setting with a forest baking up to the backyard. We will be back soon. Thanks, Nadia, you are a fantastic host.

A Perfect Fit for Me

What can I say? There is nothing negative to say. This home was a perfect fit for myself and my dog. We enjoyed the privacy, as well as the quiet neighborhood. I knew exactly what to expect. Beautiful home

Very roomy home. Fantastic kitchen, nice decking to enjoy the outdoors. Huge yard which is great for pets, just be aware of the coyotes, they are large and active. Being pet friendly and carpeted it does have a pet odor, apparently it wasn’t noticed by everyone, but my sniffer is sensitive. one of the bedrooms had a strong urine odor. However there are many bonuses that are not listed on the VRBO site that were great. My dogs loved the outdoor space and the critters running around intrigued them. We loved the spacious home and property. Perfect location for our needs.

This concerns the pet odor. After this guest's weeklong visit with having 2 dogs, I stayed at the cabin and noticed a particular pet smell from one bedroom, which I had never perceived before. Since then, the carpets have been professionally washed, and I wish I had been made aware and would have been more than willing to take care of it.

We will be back!

This home was just perfect and exactly what we love in Big Bear. It looks and feels like a well loved cabin, which is important to us. Loved the wood burning fireplace and that it is the central focus point in the huge open living area. The yard was incredible for our dogs, they didn't want to come inside! We will definitely be back!

Wonderful getaway

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. It had lots of character and charm. It had everything we needed. Our dog loved the large gated backyard. We all enjoyed birdwatching and quiet walks in the neighborhood. We had some excitement with a thunderstorm and lightning early in the week, but weather was great after that. The owners were easy to get a hold of and answered all of our questions. We enjoyed our ziplining excursion, and wandering around the village. It was a nice getaway for us. Thank you to our hosts!

Perfect!!

After a hard start to our trip due to car trouble and then mechanic trouble getting to this beautiful cabin was exactly what we needed. I wouldn’t change anything. The pictures don’t do this place justice. We absolutely loved it. From the spacious kitchen and living room to the comfortable beds. Also, the location is perfect, it’s close to everything. We had a great time and would definitely stay again. Nadia was a great host as well. Nadia thank you for all your help your house is beautiful.

An amazing home away from home.

We spent a few days with family in this beautiful cabin. It was so nice, clean with large TV’s, amazingly comfortable couches in front of a large fire place and a kitchen and dining room perfect for enjoying time together. Our dog loved having such a huge gated yard to play in too. Every detail is thought of and so appreciated. This would be an amazing place in summer or winter.

The pictures tell the story, everything is as you see it! There are a lot of pluses with this house and one that I like is the location, the neighborhood is high end and if you know Big Bear this can be important because some area can make or break your stay! The other 5 stars is for Nadia, 100% response, helpful, easy to deal with, just an all-around nice Lady!

Great Getaway Location

Really awesome property, big kitchen area (we love to cook so it was important), living room (we play a lot of games) and a back porch area to relax (lots of reading). Our new favorite place to stay when we are coming to Big Bear!
