Make your next Big Bear getaway a Mountain Adventure at this spacious two-story log cabin just a short walk from the lifts at Snow Summit Resort. With a private hot tub beneath the pines, pool and foosball for nights in, a fenced yard, and room for up to seven guests, this pet-friendly retreat combines an excellent resort location with all the ingredients for a fun year-round mountain escape. Step inside to classic Big Bear cabin character with gorgeous hardwood floors, soaring cathedral ceilings, rustic mountain furnishings, and an open layout designed for spending time together.

After a day on the slopes or exploring Big Bear, settle into the living room and warm up beside the wood-burning fireplace. A mounted flat-screen TV with cable and streaming capabilities plus complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi keep everyone entertained when it's time to relax. The open-concept kitchen and dining areas make group meals easy. The fully equipped kitchen offers generous counter space, cookware, utensils, stainless steel appliances, and a dishwasher, while breakfast bar seating and a log dining table provide plenty of room to gather for everything from quick breakfasts to family dinners.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin in Big Bear. The property was comfortable, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The price was also extremely reasonable, making it a great value.The only area that could use some attention is the backyard patio. We were looking forward to spending time outside, but the patio furniture looked very worn. The cushions had holes, rips, and stains, and the extra table wasn't very inviting. Refreshing the outdoor furniture would make the backyard much more enjoyable.Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely book this property again. With just a few updates to the outdoor seating area, it would be even better!

Great cabin!

My family enjoyed this cabin!! It was super cute and had tons of amenities. We loved playing pool and hanging in the hot tub. The couch was a little small and the beds weren’t super comfy but it didn’t ruin our fun!

Family Vacation

Very Clean, they had everything we need it from barbecue grill to washer and dryer. They had extra blankets and pillows. Very close to the lake. This place definitely exceeded our expectations. Strongly recommend.

My family loved this cabin. It is exactly as it is in the pictures. They had so much fun with the pool table, foosball table and the board games. My only comment would be the counters were not wiped down when we came but everything else was clean and we loved it. Would definitely come back

Excellent stay

We were up here for the Spartan Race and booked this place. Fantastic location. It was very clean and well stocked. We have stayed at quite a few places in Big Bear over the years and would definitely stay here again. The check in was easy and liked the text communications. Hot tub, games, pool table all a plus as well as nice rooms. Great place to stay. Thanks again.

Big Bear Getaway

Property is in an awesome location. Close to the local grocery stores, snow play, and Big Bear Village. The house layout was perfect for our family. There were two twin beds and a queen bed on the second floor. The second floor also had a pool table, a video game console, as well as a foosball table. The kids had plenty to do. The only area of improvement would have to be in the general house cleanliness and upkeep. The house was pretty dusty, the linens in the closet seemed to be thrown in, it seemed as if the house needed some care. The pans need to be replaced, cooking was a bit hard because of the quality of the cookware. The hosts were very attentive and answered all of my questions in a timely manner.

It was a lovely rustic property. Very comfortable. Cleanliness of the home was an issue

We were disappointed in the cleanliness of the home. The upstairs loft had not been vacuumed (cracker bits on the carpet) and there was hair on the bathroom floor. Dishes had been put away with food on them as well as dirty utensils. A frying pan had been put away with cooked eggs on it.

Nice and cozy family trip. Place is updated and we enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. Was unable to log in to other streaming apps not already loaded on the roku. Front door was a little finicky trying to unlock. Also there were a bunch of ants in the bathrooms and some of them made into the kitchen. Probably wouldn't stay at this property again.

Our cabin

Cabin was not very clean, but should have been given a through cleaning before the season began. Pots and pans need to be replaced. Ants in the bathroom. Pool table, foose ball table, and tvs with video players was great.

As Described

Had a great time at the house. Just as described, fun for kids and adults. But I do have a few suggestions to the owner and info for someone looking to rent. 1) At a vacation rental you expect everything that you would at a hotel at the very minimum. There wasn't any coffee. First for me and I stay at vacation rentals often. 2) Trash out. You have to take your trash with you. I didn't see this anywhere until after I left and noticed it written on the parking pass. I was charged and that's a bummer. Although it would have been difficult to do even if I knew about packing the trash out, which leads me to number 3. 3) Couldn't find any trash bags. Looked everywhere. I wanted to take my cans home to recycle. Couldn't find bags anywhere. Over all though, great house! A block from 711 too so I got coffee there.

Our local city does not offer trash pickup for vacation rentals in Big Bear hence the free local trash site and our provided trash bags when you arrived. (There were multiple in each can liner on arrival day however we understand they may have been used over the course of your visit) We do sincerely hope to host you again for another visit to earn a full five star review!

Christmas getaway

Last minute Christmas getaway. Needed an altitude adjustment and boy did this deliver. Fantastic location walking distance to resort and close to all shopping. Our hot tub was not full or heating and they had someone out in 30 minutes to fix the situation. Happy kids!!! Will definitely book another stay!

Nice cabin for all ages cabin contained all amenities

2nd floor requires more heat, Dusty, spider webs on hanging lamps, had to call maintenance for porch light and filter for furnace change . dust was coming out and loud. Once maintenance was called and filter was changed it was a world of difference. Breaker popped maintenance was called 2nd time to turn back on after an hour.

Good Neighbor Policy enforced at all times. Removing trash and Wash Dishes. No Smoking, Parties, Events, Loud Music, Street Parking, or Over Occupancy Allowed. Fines/Evictions possible by both Code Enforcement and Big Bear Vacations.

Check-in after 4:00 pm - Check-out before 10:00 am
No Early Arrival/Late Departure During Peak Seasons or Holidays.

There is No Street Parking Allowed in Big Bear- Make Every Attempt to Get Cars Off the Street for Snowplows. November thru April the law requires snow chains in your cars.

Pet Policy-Pet Friendly Homes Only-$40/Pet/Night
Pets must be acknowledged and may not be left unattended in the home. Owners must clean up after pets; subject to added cleaning fees for violations.

All homes include clean linens, and fresh bath towels for the occupancy. A kitchen with basic cookware and small starter amount of dish soap, toilet paper, and trash bags will be supplied. Paper towels, coffee filters/coffee, specialty appliances, nor condiments/spices/oils are supplied.

No Pay-Per-View Ordering in any homes.

No refunds/credits for cancellations or trip interruptions due to acts of nature, (especially snow, fire, power outages) weather, road conditions, mechanical or electrical failures, spa malfunctions, or other equipment factors beyond our control.

This is a forested mountain community home to critters- animals or insects you may encounter are spiders, moths, flies, squirrels, gophers, bears, coyotes, burro, bear, bats, etc. Our team inspects prior to arrival but cannot guarantee the home will be free of these forest critters.

We reserve the right to offer a comparable property or issue a full refund if circumstances arise that are beyond our control and your property is made unavailable for any reason.
