I chose this listing because of the central in town location and the excellent reviews. It did NOT disappoint! We could easily walk all around town to music venues, shops and restaurants. The apartment was very clean and well maintained with extras like water bottles in the fridge and a bottle of wine on the counter! We decided that if we go back to Floyd we would definitely seek to book this place again. The owner was also very helpful and accommodating when illness forced us to change the dates of our visit. Highly recommend Golden Maple Homestays!

Perfect Weekend

Property was Clean and Cozy, Host has made sure everything you need is available. Perfect location for walking downtown. Safe location! Hope to stay again soon. Outside light would be nice to have when coming in after dark. The area has so much to see and do nearby. Beautiful County

We enjoyed our time here. We came into town for 2 nights to go to Floyd Country store. We got into town late and didn't realize how early everything closed so it was great to have a kitchen. The place was clean and comfortable. Easy to walk to town.

Great location to Downtown Floyd.

Our stay was great and convenient to The Floyd Country Store where we attended a concert. The door was a little tricky to open, but otherwise everything was great. We would have loved a couple of emergency coffee pods, but we survived. Thanks!!

We arrived at the check-in time. The apartment was ready, clean, and comfortable.The coffee, water, wine, popcorn and instant oatmeal were nice. Easy walk to Floyd Country Store, Farmers market, and restaurants. Needs: the coded door lock either needs to be replaced or needs a fresher battery. The rubber buttons are troublesome - requiring a long push for each. The towel rack in the bathroom needs to be reattached before it falls out. Skip the fuzzy decorative throw pillows in the bedroom - they are only dust collectors.

Back Again!

We have stayed at the other apartment in this building and they are wonderful! Quiet location around the corner from Downtown Floyd that is always busy with things to do. We will definitely be back.

Quick stay in Floyd

Very nicely decorated apartment. Kitchen well supplied. LR and BR comfortable. There is a tall set of wooden stairs to climb. My opinion is that they need to increase the stair lighting during the shorter days. There are some lights on the stairs but they don't illuminate well enough. Otherwise, this is a wonderful apartment that is very conveniently located to downtown.

We Loved Floyd!

We loved your place! It was perfect for our family! Our son is a freshman at Virginia Tech and we came to visit for Parents Weekend. Your place was perfect for our stay and had everything we needed! We enjoyed wine at night and coffee in the morning! It was very comfortable and beautifully decorated! We will definitely be back!
