A great place to stay while in the New Castle area. Very clean throughout. Comfy beds and easy access to the home. The yellow trim on the door with the beautiful yellow flowers in front was a great touch. This is an older home with furnishings matching the age. The owner was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

The owner of the house was living in his RV in the driveway while we were there!! They did not tell us that and I was traveling with kids. Purposely not included in the rental description or agreement. Felt very unsafe and encroached upon and like he was watching and listening to us all weekend. It totally creeped me and my kids out and we felt very unsafe. At 10:00am check out time, he was right at the door and inside the house! While we were finishing up and still there. Felt like we were being watched. Reached out to rental company and they did not care at all and felt like there was nothing wrong with renting to us without telling us there would be a grown man living in the driveway. Even when they knew we were traveling with kids. Would not return and would not feel comfortable renting from Keylink Vacation Rentals again.

We loved this place! It had such history and charm! It fit our family of 8 well and had everything we needed. We even saw a deer in the backyard. Loved staying here!

Summer getaway

The Mayor’s house was used as a summer getaway for a teacher and several students for 5 days of activities in and around Glenwood Springs/New Castle. It was a great location, quiet and well equipped for people of all ages!

The house is very old and needs several updates; the bathroom doors do not have locks. The beds are very old; the bedspreads and blankets are also very worn out and old. The air conditioning wasn't working, and the TV remote controls don't work. The price one pays for that house isn't worth it; you can rent brand-new houses with a pool in Florida for the same price.

Relaxing place to enjoy Glenwood Springs

The listing describes this place very well. The kitchen was nicely equipped for us, and it was nice to use the grill. The master bed fits a little tight, and getting 5 people through one shower was a process. However, we found it to be unique, well furnished, clean and it worked as we hoped for our stay.

New Castle Family Rendezvous

My parents met up with my wife and I on the tail end of their UT/CO road trip. We're planning on moving to New Castle so this was a perfect way to experience it. The house was perfect for us and we appreciated the Mayor Frank backstory in the community. Main Street had plenty of food options for our long weekend. The proximity to Glenwood and GJ/Fruita made it a great location to go out and explore the western slope!

Cute house in an adorable town

We stayed for 3 days while we were in state for a funeral. We LOVED it! The house worked amazingly to give all of us the privacy we needed. Every morning we woke up and walked down to drifters coffee and ate breakfast at the little diner. The town was super cute to walk around in and only 20 minutes from Rifle which is where the rest of our group stayed. Overall a great trip. The kiddos really enjoyed the swing set aswell.

Nice stay

Great property that had everything our friend group needed. Loved the bed space for friend group of 8. We enjoyed the share space for game nights. About 15 mins to Glenwood Springs. Cute town of New Castle and good location on the main st. Didn’t communicate with hosts, so that rating didn’t apply to us. Didn’t use to kitchen for cooking. Overall, had a wonderful experience at Mayor Frank’s!
