The home was very clean and well kept for being an older home. The host was very responsive when we had a slight problem during check-in and very sweet when communicating with her. The neighborhood and surrounding area was very nice and we enjoyed dinner in Park Circle, which was just a few minutes away.

Great Stay

The house is very comfortable and spacious for 4 adults and two teenagers. The kitchen is well stocked and the house has everything you could possibly need. Would definitely stay there again when in the area.

Charleston

The house was clean and provides everything we needed for our stay. Any issue or question we had was answered promptly by our host. She gave great recommendations on what to do while we were there the house was spacious and located in a central location in a quiet neighborhood. The yard is small but gave the kids space to play, and there are plenty of parks nearby.

The house looked just like the pictures. It was very comfortable and clean. I was located about 15 mins from everything. I would definitely be back to stay.

Nice place, some oddities

Nice house, with everything relatively within 30 minutes. Beds are nice. Bathrooms are a bit on the smaller side but still nice. Sticking at 72 degrees is a little rough in 90 degree weather, but theres a fan in each bedroom so it helps. There wasnt enough towels for our group though, not a big deal though since the owners supply tide pods to do laundry. Only real complaints from my group was the air conditioning and air flow, since we had more people than beds some of us were in the living room. There was a box fan in a closet but we didnt find it until the second night, so thats kinda on us. Overall would not mind coming back here, it was enjoyable.

Beware -Filthy property Stayed 1 hour

The property was filthy. We literally stayed less than an hour and spent most of that time looking for other accommodations. Walking on the floors left my daughters feet dirt covered, pubic hair on wash cloth, linen looked unwashed, bugs and spiders on beds, mold on shower curtain, table was dirty and sticky. I didn't want to unzip our luggage or have my pregnant daughter and granddaughter sleep there. Did communicate with the host who said they would have cleaners come, but I already booked other lodging and wouldn't feel good staying there after all we saw. Was just told "ok" by the host.

Rhonda- you alerted me at 10pm that you had checked in and were unsatisfied. I replied at 630a and offered to come inspect and/or have the house cleaned to your satisfaction. You denied, stating that you had already left, to which I replied "ok." We inspected the property personally at 9am and of the 19 towels in the home, we were able to find one single hair. The floors were clean and there were no spiders present. Aside from the bathmat that covers the old tile in the main bathroom, we could not deduce what you were mistaking for unclean floors. They had been swept and mopped and were in good condition. I will let the other renters use our many great reviews to draw their own conclusions but I will tell other hosts to beware of you, as you are clearly a difficult person to host. In the end, we are sorry you were unsatisfied but to be clear- we did try to correct any perceived problem you presented in a very timely manner.

We apologize for the inconvenience. However, you waited until the last day of your stay to alert us of the problem, leaving us with no time to fix it during your visit! We had the ac repaired the very next day but you had already left!

Clean and Convenient

This house is not fancy, but it is clean and conveniently located in N. Charleston, only about 20 minutes from downtown with plenty of options for food, shopping, and entertainment closer. The house now has a queen bed in the office and it is comfortable (when we booked it was advertised as a twin bed). Finding the key to the house was a little tricky and you have to enter through the garage. The owner requires the AC to be set at 72 at the lowest and at 76 when you check out, so we found the bedrooms to be too warm throughout our stay in early April and the house seemed to be musty because the AC doesn't run consistently. Wood floors throughout and the mattresses on the beds at the far end of the house squeak, but if you have heavy sleepers, it shouldn't be an issue. The kitchen had plenty of supplies to cook for six, but only five could sit comfortably in the living room on the couch and loveseat, as the extra chairs were wicker and uncomfortable. Overall a good stay.

Dance Competition

We stayed at Hartford Circle to watch our daughter dance at the nearby convention center. We appreciated the communication with the home owner about location of home to venue prior to arriving. We enjoyed taking walks in this neighborhood in the morning and the large enough space for our family of 5. The vintage charm and large front porch were a nice addition. Close enough to several beaches and Tanger Outlet. We enjoyed our stay!

Nice house

We enjoyed our stay at this house. It had several things already in the house that you normally have to purchase. So when a light was out I had no problem just going a buying some bulbs and fixing it. They had some bulbs just not the right size. It was the perfect size for what we needed. Thank you!! Oh and we put bird feed in the bird feeder and watched the birds it was nice!

Comfortable Home

What you see is what you get. The house was in a nice older neighborhood (Safe for an evening walk). It had lots of room to stay comfortably. The owner was very responsive. Overall a very enjoyable place to stay.
