Small house, suitable to sleep 5. Has 2 cozy bedrooms, living room, bathroom(shower. & tub) with laundry area. Kitchen with dinning area. Front porch with rocking chairs. Nice yard. Fire pit. Very quiet. Pets are allowed. Maximum number of pets is 2. There will be an extra charge of 25Per weekend for 1 pet and 10. Per night for second pet. If you areABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING IN THE HOUSE. Please bag all garbage and place in outside trash can upon departure. Thank you. If you are bringing a pet or pets, it needs to be specified so the fee can be added at the time of booking

This is our 2nd stay in 2 weeks and we could not happier. We plan on booking here each time we are in the area and they have an opening. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking.

The house was better than expected. The house was spotless and very inviting. We are already booked for this coming weekend. Communication with the owner was very quick. Looking forward to future stays at this cottage. I highly recommend this place.

Hillside ridge top just off I-70

The cliche applies, cottage was superb.Only minor downfall was highway noise if sitting outside, but indoors no noise ingressed the unit.Ample room and supplies, only inside concern was distance from couch to TV made viewing difficult.Gas fireplace was inoperative, would have been nice to enjoy it in the evening. Neighbours were all friendly but busy with logging and renovations. Unit was still worthy of a five star rating and hope to return.

Weekend getaway.

The house is even more adorable than the pictures convey. Newly renovated and extremely clean. Many items and furniture are new (and still have tags). Perfect location for our needs as we were traveling to Garrett County on Saturday and Berkley Springs and Hedgesville on Sunday. This was a great midway point for our travels. Close to grocery store in Hancock and restaurants in Berkley Springs. Cindy was an awesome host and the little extra thoughtful items and notes made us feel welcomed. We will definitely be back! It was that perfect.

Cottage in the Woods - October 4th-7th, 2024

Very nice House inside and Out. Great location as it was not too far off the highway. Inside furnishings, Decor and supplies were fantastic!! Top quality! I spent much time on the front porch rocking in the chair and listening to the sounds of nature. Particularly loved hearing the Rooster further back the lane. Our son met us here on this trip so that we could celebrate he and his fathers birthday together. Hoping to return next Fall as well!!

Amazing find!

We were looking for a place to stay in order to explore the Berkley Springs area. This little gem is everything it promises to be. With only 15 minutes to get to Berkley Springs, the owner has thought of everything to make your stay cozy, convenient, and secluded. She decorated for the fall holidays with beautiful little accents. There extra toiletries, amazingly comfortable beds, and pillows. Every corner of this home was clean and ideal for our stay. highly highly recommend!

Perfect little place

This property was nice, new, and neat. It was as great place to catch up with family. We were able to cook all of our meals and relax. There was great outdoor space to enjoy the nice weather. We loved all of the little details and care put in to this rental.

Lovely Setting

Nestled in the woods, this property was very clean and very comfortable. Cindy was very responsive and we had everything we needed to cook and having Netflix available was a real plus! If Cindy isn't listed as a super host, she should be.
