Mickey’s Magic Retreat at Terra Verde Resort

Mickey’s Magic Retreat is our comfortable townhome that has an open floor plan, cozy decor and is stocked with everything you need for a family vacation. There is a roomy hot tub on the private patio, as well as a table and chairs at which to enjoy your morning coffee. Our patio backs up to a conservation area, so the sounds that you will hear are the sounds of nature. You may see tropical birds or perhaps a fox in the morning as you sip your coffee at our comfortable table. The Master bedroom has a comfy king size bed and ensuite bath; Middle bathroom has a queen size bed and sunny, Florida-themed decor, and the kids’ room has two twin beds with Mickey bedding. We provide a high chair, baby gates, bed safety rails, two umbrella strollers and 2 pack n plays for the littles. Our kitchen is stocked with cooking spices, toilet tissue, paper towels, food storage bags, etc. We also have a soft cooler and ice packs so you can take lunch or snacks and drinks into the parks.

Our kitchen is also stocked with all the dishes and pots and pans so you can cook, if you choose. There is a blender, a slow cooker and a mixer for your convenience. There is also a drip coffeemaker if you choose to brew , or use the convenient single-cup Keurig. K-cups are supplied, as well as sweeteners. We also have a Mickey waffle maker for the young ones (or the adults - we don’t judge!!)

Our home is a short drive to all the parks, and allows you to step away from the chaos of the parks and truly relax at the end of a busy park day.

We are a short drive away from Route 192, where there are many choices in chain restaurants. If you have any questions, please reach out to us. If we don’t have the answer, will find it for you! We love our little house, and we know that you will too. Come and stay at Mickey’s Magic Retreat!

Everything we could have wanted was provided. K pods for coffee, tea and hot chocolate. The house was clean and spotless and even decorated for Christmas.

They made the place feel like home - even had a Christmas tree, decorations, and hot cocoa. Place was very clean and had all the essentials in the kitchen. Beds were comfortable. Hot tub works very well (easy for those that don’t usually have one available). We had a great stay!

AMAZING First Vrbo Experience

This was our very first experience with vrbo and it was AMAZING! Joan is AMAZING and so easy to communicate with. We are an ohana of 6 that traveled to Kissimmee for a jiu jitsu competition at the Silver Spurs Arena. The location of the unit was just down the road and a quick 20min drive so location for us was prime. Check in was so easy. I had reserved the unit a day early since we didn't get to FL until the next morning so that we could check in upon arrival early in the morning. Joan sends very detailed instructions on how to check in once you reach the community that includes how to get a parking pass and other important instructions like how to discard the trash. The front door has a digital lock to get in and out of the property so that actual keys are not needed. That was perfect! You could tell that the unit itself is kind of old-ish. But it was clean and came with everything you would need for your stay. Lots of towels to accommodate my ohana of 6. Large washer and dryer. Lots of room for all of us. Comfy beds. Since we were there for a jiu jitsu competition, the community gym and sauna came in clutch for my athletes that was watching their weight. Unit also came with a scale so my athletes could keep an eye on their weight at all times too. Just overall and AMAZING experience and we would definitely stay here again.

Perfect home away from home feeling!! And the most comfortable primary room mattress. Host was responsive and thoughtful. The only thing that would have improved our stay would have been having the back porch screened in. The hot tub was a hit though.

Great vacation spot

The listing was accurate and we had a blast. Didn’t take advantage of the hot tub, but the pool at the clubhouse was fantastic, especially for younger kids. Within 15-20 minutes of Disney and only an hour from Kennedy space center.

Home away from home

We have stayed at Terra Verde Resort on 4 different occasions in a different house each time; this is by far the best that we’ve stayed in. It was clean and completely stocked with all of the necessities. We will definitely try to book this place again when we take another trip to Florida! Although we didn’t use the Disney essentials (fans, popcorn buckets, cups, ponchos) they were provided which was a nice touch! The Disney decor had my 2 year old and 11 year old squealing with excitement.

Fabulous location - quiet and peaceful, yet well connected for easy access to all the main Orlando theme parks. The townhome is very tastefully decorated, well stocked (towels, dishes etc) and has everything a guest could need, including a private hot tub ! Highly recommend !!

Perfect Family Vacation

This home is exactly what we needed for our family of 8. The house is stocked with everything you need for the week. The kids loved the hot tub and it was a big deal for them to use it after spending the day at Disney. Disney is close by too! We were grateful for the Disney popcorn buckets and cooler/ice packs they had to take with us to the parks. The owners communicated quickly and were very kind. We had a great Thanksgiving vacation and are thankful to have found such a nice rental!

Great stay!

We spent 2 weeks here, check in was easy and everyone was friendly. We never needed to contact the host or maintenance, everything was clean, stocked and ready to go. We loved all the Disney touches in the home, especially appreciated the popcorn buckets to use. The pool area is a little small, but nice. The tiki bar has decent food. We never utilized the other amenities in the complex, but everything looked well maintained. Joan and John's home away from home was the perfect place for our family getaway - highly recommend!!
