This house was the perfect getaway for our whole family ranging from grandparents to small kiddos. The house was so well laid out with spacious rooms and fun little "hide-aways" for the kids. Very much hope to rent again in the future!

Great layout with the bedrooms, open space with kitchen, dining table and sofa/tv. Lots of games to play inside and outdoors. Our family of 10 and a baby had a wonderful time. Host communication was perfect.

The house was perfect for our group! We had 5 couples. Each having their own bathroom connected to their room was a huge plus. The home is beautiful inside and out. We so much enjoyed sitting out on the back porch that overlooks the water. We all just wanted a place to gather for relaxation, conversation, and time spent together. This house served us well! Communication and instructions were easy as well. I would definitely rent again!

All around great weekend for UGA football :) Bigger pots for cooking for large crowd would be nice. Also we didn’t read through the ‘welcome’ book until our last day, which was a Sunday, so we weren’t able to follow protocol for trash disposal correctly!

Perfect lake house vacation for the whole family!

There are so many great things about this house from the bunk room and fun room that the kids loved and the large living room and dining room but our favorite part was the dock, the Sandy beach area where we could walk into the lake and all the amazing lake supplies like kayaks and paddleboard that were provided - everyone in our family loved their stay here!

An amazing spot!

Rented this beautiful home for a family wedding. It was perfect for all ages. So many amenities for family fun and such gracious and helpful hosts. It was perfect. Would love to go back.

Lana & Steve relocated from WI to GA in 1986, discovered Lake Oconee in 1989, and have been vacationing here ever since! Our two boys, Tom and Max, were raised in Marietta, GA. Tom married Holly 4 years ago. We decided in 2020, as a family, to purchase Golden Acres (2 acres with the small cabin on site) with the intention of building a main house and renovating the cabin for rental on VRBO.
