WILDLIFE WARNING
The lakeside is home to a variety of amazing creatures, including fish like the largemouth bass, sunfish, and catfish, as well as birds, deer, and insects. It is incredible for those who love to nature-watch from afar, but may not be for everyone. Use caution and do not touch wildlife. Avoid leaving food outside (including residue in grills or fires), and secure all garbage.

It is also recommended to avoid bushes or long grass and to bring some pepper spray when going out for a hike or jog. We regularly perform pest control and take extra measures to prevent critters from entering our homes; please keep doors and windows closed to keep them out.

NOISE
We kindly request all guests to respect the quiet hours from 10 pm to 9 am. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

Please note that a boat is parked on the property but it is off-limits to guests. Let us know if you need more information on nearby boat rentals.

FISHING AT LAKE OCONEE
Fishing is permitted at Lake Oconee and managed by Georgia Power. Guests may fish from boats, banks, and public piers. A valid Georgia fishing license is required for anyone 16+. Please observe posted signage, avoid restricted areas, and note that private shorelines require owner permission.

View was amazing. Home is beautiful and was perfect for our group! Our only complaint was that certain areas were neglected by the cleaning team such as oven, floors, grill, outdoor spaces. Keurig machine and washing machine in main level was broken. However, timely communication with homeowners to remedy issues.

The location and home itself would have been amazing, if not for the many issues that we encountered.After entry, we immediately noted dirt on the floors and cobwebs in many areas. We have not noted this at several prior VRBO lake rentals at other lakes, but we understand that there are always bugs near water. What we found however in one bedroom was a bed covered in ants and dirty sheets perhaps the source of the ants. There was a stains on the sheet and the linens had to be laundered to use. We later found ants on the kitchen counter after we had began to bring our food into the home. The manager was notified. A door dash type delivery of ant spray and ant bait was the only thing provided. The manager was also notified of a dirty hot tub and two toilets that were stopped up. No solution was offered for the hot tub. A plumber was supposed to come during our stay, but none showed and the toilets were unavailable throughout the stay.Additional issues include that the listing stated that 5 bedrooms have king beds. There are only 3 king bedrooms, the remainder are queens. The fire pit was full of wet soot from prior fires, and was thus unusable. We had 12 adults for a family reunion. There were only single bath towels provided for each guest. There is significant staining of the sofas on the main level. There were no dish towels or dish rags. The ice maker did not work. A well located home that is poorly maintained and with an inadequate cleaning service.

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful house. The house was spacious, spotless, and even more impressive than the photos, with plenty of room for our large group to relax without ever feeling crowded. The kitchen was fully equipped, the bedrooms were comfortable, and the indoor-outdoor living spaces—screened porch, fire-pit area, hot tub, and private dock—made the trip unforgettable. The communication with the host was seamless. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing, memory-filled getaway, and we would absolutely stay again.

A gathering to remember

This property was excellent. We had a large family vacation and the house was perfect for 16 people. Beds were comfy, showers had excellent pressure. Game room was so fun. Large screened in porch and boating dock. I Highly recommend renting this family lake house.

Spectacular Stay

We had an amazing time in this property. The house is spectacular and looks even nicer than the pictures. Views of the lake are breathtaking. Our family just had the best time. Every room is extremely comfortable and beautifully designed. The kitchen and appliances are top notch and there were plenty of living spaces to entertain our big family. We will definitely come back! Great vacation home.

Incredible View!

Very nice house. Spacious and well-equipped. The view of the lake from the living areas up and downstairs is just incredible. It was unfortunately a bit too hot to enjoy the outdoor amenities, but the view was always there. The game room is fun as well. Would definitely stay there again.
